A strip is selectively positioned to extend vertically between the door and the wall. The strip is comprised of an opaque material to obstruct vision between the door and the wall. A plurality of adhesive pads is provided. Each of the adhesive pads is coupled to the strip. Each of the adhesive pads adheres to the wall and the door to retain the strip on the wall and the door.
Process for manufacturing an interlocking molding with sightline elimination flange for toilet and other partitions
A method for manufacturing an apparatus, such as a flanged interlocking molding for use in partitions such as restroom partitions is provided. The method comprises providing an elongated strip of a metallic material having a flat profile to a device comprising a roll former comprising a plurality of dies in series, each of the plurality of dies being configured to modify a profile of the elongated strip; and modifying the profile of the elongated strip from the flat profile to a profile comprising a plurality of profile segments separated by bends in the metallic material, by passing the elongated strip through the plurality of dies sequentially to define the profile. The profile segments include segments corresponding to a first arm, a body portion, a first flange layer, a second flange layer, a second arm of the apparatus.
Hinge mounted assembly for existing door constructions
A hinge mounted assembly for existing door constructions for supporting articles between a door and a door jamb in a door construction that has upper and lower hinges; including a first U shaped bracket mounted above one of the hinges to prevent downward movement of the hinge mounted assembly, and a second U shaped bracket mounted below one of the hinges to prevent upward movement of the hinge mounted assembly, and a vertically running support rod connected to the two brackets, such that it abuts closely against the protruding portion of both hinges on the back side of the door, to prevent lateral movement of the hinge mounted assembly.
HINGE-SIDED FINGER PROTECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a hinge-sided finger protection device for a wing door, comprising at least a protective profile (1) and at least a fastening means (3) for fastening the protective profile (1) to a door frame (R) of the wing door. The protective profile (1) can be plugged onto the fastening means (3), wherein the protective profile (1) accommodates in itself the fastening means (3) in the plugged-on state. The protective profile (1) is non-destructively removable from the fastening means (3) and can be again plugged thereon. The at least one fastening means is preferably a clip (3).
PRIVACY ENCLOSURE ENHANCEMENT
An apparatus for enhancing the privacy of common privacy enclosures is presented. Two primary embodiments are disclosed. The first embodiment can be used in pre-existing enclosures. The second embodiment is designed where the privacy enhancing screen is incorporated directly into the privacy enclosure's door hinge.
DOOR WITH SUPPLEMENTARY HINGE-SIDE ENGAGEMENT
A door or window assembly includes an opening bounded by a frame including a hinge jamb (12). A panel (18) is hung relative to the hinge jamb via a hinge arrangement (20) so as to swing between an open position and a closed position. An engagement configuration includes a ledge (22) located in fixed relation to the hinge jamb, and a flange (24) rigidly associated with the panel. The engagement configuration allows me panel to swing freely between open and closed positions. in the closed position, the flange (24) is brought into facing relation with the ledge (22) such that force directed to displace the panel (18) within the plane of closure away from the hinge jamb (12) acts to bring the flange into engagement with the ledge.
FINGER PROTECTION DEVICE FOR A LEAF DOOR
A finger protection device (5) with a roller blind for a leaf door has a housing (2), a first fastening means (4) and a web (1), wherein the roller blind can be fastened to a door frame (R) and to a dour leaf (F) of the leaf door by means of the housing (2) and the first fastening means (4), with the result that, when the device is used as intended, the web (1) covers a gap between the door leaf (F) and the door frame (R). The web (1) has at its free edge an end strip (11) which is held in a second fastening means (3). The second fastening means (3) can be connected to the first fastening means (4) in order to tension the web (1) between the housing (2) and first fastening means (4) The second fastening means (3) is a suspension unit which can be suspended in the first fastening means (4) in order to tension the web (1). The finger protection device according to the invention is of robust design, consists of the simplest means and nevertheless allows optimum protection against manipulation and a maximum degree of readjustability.
