FLEXIBLE AND FORCE-VARIABLE CURTAIN FABRIC RETRACTABLE DEVICE
The present invention discloses a flexible and force-variable curtain fabric retractable device, including a hollow metal rod for wrapping a curtain fabric and a fixing mounting member mounted on both left and right ends of the hollow metal rod, wherein one end of the hollow metal rod is inlaid and installed with a flexible force-variable elastic structure, and the other end of the hollow metal rod is inlaid and installed with a driven structure, both ends of the hollow metal rod are rotatably connected with a fixing mounting member through a flexible force-variable elastic structure and a driven structure respectively.
BARRIER FOR ROUGH OPENINGS IN CONSTRUCTION SITES
A temporary barrier (1) for rough openings (2) of structures during construction, such as garage doors, entry doors and windows. The barrier is constructed out of a flexible panel (5) that is attached to a frame (15) of an opening via a plurality of grommets (14) spaced apart along edges of the panel. The barrier is capable of being adapted to fit over rough openings that do not provide surfaces for direct attachment, such as concrete floors, using a cable (17). One or more zippers (21) allows the barrier to be opened for entry, exit and/or air flow.
Containment device comprising a dry curtain
A containment device including a dry curtain, adapted to be deployed for the containment or re-containment of a discharge area, such as an opening, e.g. a door, in response to an explosion. The device includes a ballast bar in the lower portion of the curtain, the ballast bar including cylinders of high-density foam alternated with cylinders of compressible low-density foam.
Partition mounting systems, partition assembly kits, double-sided adhesive tape and methods of installation and application
A partition assembly kit, includes a receptacle, a first strap, and a first zipper having a length greater than 50% a height of a standard-sized entry way. The strap and the first zipper are provided within the receptacle.
Waste-free method of making window treatments
An apparatus and method are disclosed for forming cellular or non-cellular window shades directly from raw stock to the final desired window shade color, height and width to fit a particular window size, with essentially no wasted material. The shade is fabricated from a bonded array of a predetermined number of stacked, identically shaped and sized, elements or preforms of uniform length corresponding to one of the height or width dimensions of the desired window covering. The number of preforms is selected so that the length of the fully expanded array will correspond with the other of the height or width dimensions of the window covering. The raw stock is in the form of a continuously fed narrow strip of uncolored fabric to which the necessary coloring, folding, cutting-to-length, stacking and bonding steps are applied within the disclosed apparatus.
Keder rail attachment for a fabric/panel building
An keder rail and clamping anchor secure keder fabric to a building support beam. In one embodiment, the clamping anchor clamps about the support beam. In a second embodiment, the anchor passes through the support beam and compresses a pair of laterally extending keder rail feet against the support beam. A temporary keder rail anchor has a transitional member, support beam engagement, and keder rail engagement that displace and hold the second embodiment keder rail to an offset position relative to support beam prior to and during installation of keder fabric within the keder rail. A method of tensioning keder fabric uses this holder to secure the keder rail adjacent an edge of the structural beam while keder fabric is inserted. The holder is released and the keder rail is centered on the beam to tension the keder fabric, and the keder rail is secured to the structural beam.
ROLL UP SWING GATE
A gate assembly including a slat roll, the slat roll configured to be in an open position and a closed position, the slat roll including slats secured to a flexible medium, and a frame, the frame configured to secure and provide structure to the slat roll while in the open position.
SELF-TENSIONING MAGNETIC TRACKS AND TRACK ASSEMBLIES
A magnetic track assembly including an elongate channel having an open side, an end wall, and two parallel side walls; a first magnet disposed within the elongate channel near an interior side of the end wall; a compartment defined within the elongate channel spaced from the first magnet; and a screen receiver disposed within the compartment and including a second magnet arranged facing the first magnet. In the magnetic track assembly, the first and second magnets are of opposite polarity and the screen receiver is loosely disposed within the compartment such that a magnetic bond is intact between the first and second magnets when the first and second magnets are close together and the magnetic bond is broken when the first and second magnets are pulled apart.
Retractable Barrier Assembly
A retractable barrier assembly comprises a substantially upright stanchion supported by a base wherein the stanchion includes a removable housing having a first end, a second end, and a sidewall extending therebetween and having an elongate opening disposed therein, a rotatable rod disposed within the removable housing, a flexible screen having a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a top edge extending between the leading edge and trailing edge, the trailing edge coupled to the rotatable rod, and the leading edge having an edge attachment mechanism for selectively coupling and decoupling with a receiving member, and a winding mechanism coupled to the rotatable rod for retractably receiving and extending the flexible screen through the elongate opening of the sidewall, wherein the barrier assembly may be placed indoors or outdoors and interconnected to one or more additional such assemblies to define designated pathways, which assembly further functions to inhibit unauthorized or undesired ingress to and egress from such pathways, which assembly is mechanically suited to permit pre-printed signage including advertising or other public or private messages on corresponding extensible and retractable gates, and which assembly may further be quickly and easily installed and removed and engaged and disengaged with additional such assemblies.
Adjustable-Width Safety Gate Covers
An adjustable-width cover for removable installation on a safety gate, the safety gate having a width defined by opposed end posts and a height defined by top and bottom support rods, the cover includes a flexible, frameless, planar, and generally-rectangular cover member, the vertical height of the cover member is less than the safety gate, the width of the cover member is greater than the width of the safety gate and covers the front side of the safety gate and at least a portion of the back side of the safety gate when installed. The cover is maintained in tension using a plurality of adjustable length straps extending from each side edge of the cover on the back side of the safety gate. A motion sensor, with an adjustable sensitivity level, is used to detect motion and provide notification when the cover is moved, climbed on, or otherwise disturbed.
