Battened roller covering
A covering for an architectural-structure covering is disclosed. The covering is formed from a plurality of assembled strips of fabric material joined together. Each assembled strip of fabric material may include a fabric material including inner and outer surfaces, and top and bottom ends. A first slat may be coupled to the inner surface of the fabric material adjacent the top end thereof, the first slat having a first contact surface. A second slat may be coupled to the outer surface of the fabric material adjacent the bottom end thereof, the second slat having a second contact surface. The first contact surface of the first slat of a first assembled strip is preferably nested with the second contact surface of the second slat of an adjoining second assembled strip. The second contact surface of the second slat may be partially covered by the piece of fabric material.
Retractable shade with collapsible vanes
A retractable cover for architectural openings having collapsible vanes includes a support structure in the form of a sheet of material, monofilaments, tapes, ribbons, cords, or the like, supporting an upper edge of a plurality of vertically spaced, horizontally extending vanes with the lower edges of the vanes in most embodiments of the invention being connected to operating elements adapted to raise the lower edges of each vane toward the upper edges to define openings or gaps between the vanes through which vision and light can pass in an open condition of the covering. Variations of the covering do not require movement of a lower edge of a vane relative to an upper edge but simply movement of some vanes relative to other vanes. The vanes can be made of materials having different flexibilities and where more rigid materials are used, creased fold lines can be established for desired operability.
End cap for a rail for a window covering
An end cap for use on a rail for a covering for an architectural opening. At least one securement leg secures the end cap to the rail.
Device mounted on window blind for independent tilting of slats in lower and upper regions
A mechanical device comprises a master wheel assembly, one or multiple slave wheel assemblies, a control rod, a shaft assembly, as well as multiple pairs of cord holders and cords. The master and slave wheel assemblies are connected by a shaft assembly and are mounted at front edge of a top slat of a Venetian blind. One end of the paired cords is tightened to master and slave wheel assemblies, and the other end is tightened to a user-selected slat that divides the blind into an upper and a lower region. Manipulating the control rod causes master and slave wheel assemblies to tilt slats in the lower region of the blind without interfering slats in the upper region. Combining with operation of slat-adjusting system of Venetian blinds, this device can selectively tilt slats in lower and upper regions of Venetian blinds for privacy and natural lighting adjustments.
WINDOW COVERING SYSTEM
A window covering system and a calibration method therefor are provided for generating a safe distance between a middle rail and a lower rail according to status of a first lifting cord. The calibration method includes moving the middle and lower rails upwardly until reaching their initial positions, moving down the lower rail a predetermined distance and storing the detected position thereof as a first position, moving down the middle rail until a switch transmits a first signal as the first lifting cord running through the switch becomes loose, moving up the middle rail until the switch stops transmitting the first signal as the first lifting cord becomes tense, storing the detected position of the middle rail as a second position, and generating the safe distance according to the first and the second positions such that the middle rail is prevented from being pushed by the lower rail.
Shade
A shade (10) includes slats (20) that are arranged in an up and down direction. One or more slat(s) (21) forming a part of the slats, which is located above in the up and down direction, includes a transparent portion that enables visible light to transmit through the slat. A traveling direction of light transmitting through the transparent portion is bent.
Light control device
A light control device includes: a sheet-like light control member; and a support device supporting the light control member such that an orientation of the light control member is variable. The light control member includes: first portions arranged in a first direction along a sheet plane of the light control member, each first portion extending in a second direction that is in non-parallel with the first direction and along the sheet plane of the light control member; and second portions arranged in the first direction alternately with the first portions, each second portion extending in the second direction.
Vertical blind assembly
A modular shade includes at least one module that consists of a head rail unit, a foot rail unit, at least one intermediate rail unit, and a plurality of slat components. A top slat may be coupled to the head rail unit and the intermediate rail unit, and a bottom slat component may be coupled to the intermediate rail unit and the foot rail unit. Further, additional intermediate rail units and intermediate slat components may be added to the module to alter the shape and size of the module, and the module may be coupled to one or more additional modules to change the overall shape and size of the modular shade.
Daylighting slat and daylighting device
A daylighting slat (4) includes: a daylighting plate (51); and a support member (24) that supports the daylighting plate (51), in which the daylighting plate (51) includes; a base that has light transparency; and a plurality of daylighting parts that are provided on a first surface of the base, have light transparency, and form a gap portion between the plurality of daylighting parts, in which a part of a side surface of a daylighting part, which is in contact with the gap portion, functions as a reflecting surface that reflects light entering the daylighting part, and the support member (24), at least a part of which has light transparency, includes a gripping portion (25) that grips at least a part of a peripheral part of the daylighting plate (51) and has light absorbability, and a protective plate (26) formed of a plate body that is provided so as to face a first surface or a second surface of the daylighting plate (51).
PRIVACY DEVICE
A privacy device which comprises at least one substantially opaque member; and a plurality of attachment means in communication with a perimeter of the at least one substantially opaque member, wherein the plurality of attachment means connect the perimeter to a surface.
