20230383593 · 2023-11-30 ·

A ladder rope retaining device includes a support base, a rotating base, and an elastic positioning member. The support base has a bottom wall and two opposite straight walls connected with the bottom wall and each having a pivot trough. The rotating base includes a pivot pivotally disposed in the pivot troughs, and a ladder rope retaining portion formed on the pivot. The pivot has a plurality of positioning recesses arranged in an equally-spaced manner. The elastic positioning member is disposed to one of the straight walls of the support base and elastically engaged with one of the positioning recesses of the pivot. Thus, when the rotating base is rotated relative to the support base, the positioning recesses are alternately engaged with and disengaged from the elastic positioning member to generate a better operating feel.

CELLULAR SLATS FOR A COVERING FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL STRUCTURE

In one aspect, a cellular slat for a covering for an architectural structure includes an outer sock forming an outer cellular structure and an inner core configured to be positioned within the outer cellular structure. The inner core includes first and second ends and first and second fold edges formed between the first and second ends. With the inner core positioned within the outer sock, the inner core forms an inner cellular structure having a first curved profile extending along the first side of the cellular structure between the first and second fold edges and a second curved profile extending along the second side of the cellular structure between the first and second fold edges. Additionally, the inner core is in an at least partially detached state relative to the outer sock along at least a portion of an interface defined between the inner core and the outer sock.

Blind Repair Apparatus and Method
20220298852 · 2022-09-22 ·

A blind repair device for repairing a vane of a blind system has a generally oblong body having a central opening, and a repair structure that can be aligned with a connection aperture of the vane. The repair device can be fit over and secured to the vane to align the repair structure with the connection aperture such that the ability of the vane to couple to a runner/hanger of the blind system is restored. The repair device can be expanded to more easily fit the vane through the central opening. The body of the device can be made of a resilient material, a rigid material, or a combination of resilient and rigid materials. The body can have gripping elements such as nodes, teeth, or a rough surface to secure the repair device to the vane.

FOLLOWER ARRANGEMENT FOR A BLIND ASSEMBLY

A follower arrangement, operatively coupled to a plurality of slats of a blind assembly via a flexible cord, for raising and lowering the plurality of slats via the flexible cord, may include a housing defining a first opening therethrough, a ferromagnetic or paramagnetic counterweight to act against a weight of the plurality of slats of the blind assembly to reduce forces required to be applied to the follower arrangement to raise or lower the slats, and at least one magnet received within the first opening defined through the housing and magnetically attached to the counterweight to magnetically secure the housing to the counterweight.
