OPENING COVERING FOR BUILDING OPENING AND HEADRAIL THEREOF
A headrail, which is included in an opening covering for a building opening, includes a frame and a fixing member. The frame, by definition, has a longitudinal axis, and the frame forms a first sub-frame and a second sub-frame in a direction along the longitudinal axis. The fixing member is optionally provided at the frame. When the fixing member is provided at the frame and bridge the first sub-frame and the second sub-frame at the same time, the first sub-frame and the second sub-frame are fixedly connected to each other in an aligned manner.
EXTERNAL MOTOR DRIVE SYSTEM FOR WINDOW COVERING SYSTEM WITH CONTINUOUS CORD LOOP
A motor driven system for raising and lowering a window covering executes motor ramp trajectory speed control. The motor ramp trajectory limits acceleration of an external motor from the idle (stationary) state to full operating speed, and limits deceleration of the motor from full operating speed back to the idle state. This function reduces stresses on a continuous cord loop drive mechanism. A control system manages solar heating effects in response to sunlight entrance conditions such as system sensor outputs, external weather forecasts, and other data sources. The system automatically opens or close the window covering to increase or decrease admitted sunlight under appropriate conditions. The input interface of the control system includes a visual display and input axis, which are aligned vertically if the window covering mechanism raises and lowers the window covering, and are aligned horizontally if the window covering mechanism laterally opens and closes the window covering.
Daylight redirecting window film laminates
A daylight redirecting window film formed by a flexible multi-layer film laminate with a total thickness of less than one millimeter and configured to be applied to an indoor-facing window surface of a building facade. The window film includes a pair of outer film substrates flanking a light redirecting core layer. The core layer includes a parallel array of channels defining total internal reflection (TIR) surfaces and linear optically transmissive structures protruding transversely thought the core layer and bonded to the outer film substrates. A light output surface of the outer film substrate which is disposed on an indoor-facing side of the laminate includes a two-dimensional pattern of light scattering microstructures which are configured to spread light at least in a plane that is perpendicular to the channels. The TIR surfaces intercept and reflect a portion of sunlight propagating through the core layer such that the window film redirects that portion of incident sunlight towards a plurality of divergent directions, forming relatively high bend angles.
Smart curtain light strings
The present disclosure provides smart curtain light strings including a fixing unit, a mounting unit, a light-emitting unit, and a control unit. The fixing unit passes through and is engaged with the mounting unit. The fixing unit includes a first guiding rail and a second guiding rail. Fixing pieces are fixedly connected with a top portion of the second guiding rail by screws. A horizontal plate is fixedly connected to a side of each fixing piece. Fixing plates are mounted on two sides of the first guiding rail. Positioning pieces are threadedly connected to the top portion of the second guiding rail. The mounting unit includes clamping sleeves and clump weights. A stabilizing sleeve passes through an interior of each clamping sleeve. Each stabilizing sleeve is screwed with each clamping sleeve through threads. A package cap is connected to a bottom portion of each stabilizing sleeve through threads.
Curtain assembly and installation methods thereof
A curtain assembly includes a curtain lamina made of a multifunctional multilayer composite sheet material, a top retaining member disposed on top of the curtain lamina and configured to receive the curtain lamina and to suspend the curtain lamina onto a curtain rail, and a counterweight portion disposed at a bottom of the curtain lamina and configured to receive the curtain lamina and stabilize the curtain lamina. The top retaining member includes a first holding piece, a second holding piece, a top fastener, and a top fixing device. The counterweight portion includes a first vertical weight piece, a second vertical weight piece, a bottom fastener, and a bottom fixing device.
Methods and apparatus for controlling architectural opening coverings in more than one mode
Methods and apparatus to operate a covering of an architectural covering are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a clutch to disengage a motor when the motor is not in use. The dual control architectural covering further includes a clutch to disengage a motor from moving a covering to facilitate manual operation of the covering of an architectural covering when the motor is not in use; and a controller: to track a covering position based on a first encoder measurement from a first encoder; and to track a motor position when the motor disengages based on a second encoder measurement from a second encoder different from the first encoder.
Fastening system and window shade including the same
A fastening system for a window shade includes a first and a second clipping base, and a first and a second clipping plate. In a first configuration, the first and second clipping bases are attached to each other with each of the first and second clipping plates respectively disposed between and in contact with the first and second clipping bases, whereby a first panel can be held between the first clipping base and the first and second clipping plates and a second panel can be held between the second clipping base and the first and second clipping plates. In a second configuration, the first and second clipping bases are attachable to each other without the first and second clipping plates, whereby a single panel of a window shade can be held between the first and clipping bases.

VEHICLE PRIVACY SCREEN
A privacy screen for a vehicle that can provide for an enhanced passenger experience. The privacy screen includes a blocking body configured to at least partially shroud a shielded seat of the vehicle. The blocking body has an inner seat facing surface, an outer shielding surface, and a concave contour that is configured to extend at least partially around the shielded seat. The privacy screen further includes a passenger enhancement feature that is configured to be controllable via input from a passenger of the vehicle that is remote from a driver of the vehicle.
