A top of the pair of lower track brackets are located at least 42 inches above the floor.

Base slat pry stopper

A base slat pry stopper, such as a base slat locking bracket, for locking a rolling shutter curtain covering an opening of a structure is disclosed. The base slat pry stopper may include a bracket base plate mounted to an opening bottom wall on an interior side of the shutter curtain, and a base slat engagement portion extending upward from the bracket base plate and above a top surface of the opening bottom wall. When the shutter curtain is unrolled to cover the opening, the base slat engagement portion engages the base slat to prevent the base slat from deflecting upward away from the opening bottom wall when a force applied from an exterior side of the shutter curtain causes the base slat to deflect toward the interior side of the structure and the shutter curtain. The base slat pry stopper may be permanently or removably installed.

Quick release curtain closure system

A closure apparatus for covering a portal is disclosed herein. In various aspects, the closure apparatus includes a curtain assembly having one or more curtains and a spindle assembly mounted superjacent a portal on an exterior of the portal. The spindle assembly is operably engaged with the curtain assembly to extend the curtain assembly to cover the portal and retract the curtain assembly to uncover the portal. Channels disposed on lateral sides of the portal engage the curtain assembly when the curtain assembly is extended to cover the portal. Front channel members, which are pivotably connected to corresponding adjacent supports, pivot to release the curtain assembly from engagement with the channels upon application of sufficient force to the curtain assembly to allow egress or ingress through the portal when the closure apparatus is not operational, for example, during loss of power. Related methods of operation of the closure apparatus are also disclosed.

Guide and sunshade assembly provided therewith

A guide is presented intended for use in a sunshade assembly of the type comprising a flexible sunscreen having opposed longitudinal edges and two opposed longitudinal guides each comprising at least two spaced guide legs for defining there between a guide channel for receiving therein and guiding corresponding ones of the opposed longitudinal edges of the sunscreen. The guides and longitudinal edges are provided with cooperating guide locking members and edge locking members for preventing the longitudinal edges of the sunscreen from moving out of the guide channels. The guide locking members are defined on separate parts engaging the guides.

Screen device

A screen device comprising: a screen roller (1), having a screen (2), which can be rolled up and unrolled hereon and which on at least one lateral side is provided with a thickening (6), a motor (7) for driving the screen roller (1), which motor, at that end of the screen roller (1) closest to the thickening (6), is disposed at least partially in the screen roller (1), wherein the motor (7) is fitted so far into the screen roller (1) that the thickening (6), in the rolled-up state of the screen (2), is positioned at least partially closer to the screen roller axis (A) than any point on that part of the motor (7) that is fitted in the screen roller (1), which point is situated the furthest from this screen roller axis (A).
