Cushion for shading system
The invention describes a cushion for shading system of the type comprising a piece of cloth slidingly fastened to a section bar of an upright. A raceway with a substantially C-shaped cross section serves to fasten the cushion to a section bar edge, and a flexible tongue, having an end on the raceway and an opposed end spaced therefrom in order to contact the upright, serves as a spring between the section bar and the upright, allowing the section bar to come nearer to the upright in a compression phase or to be spaced in a predetermined way in the absence of compression.
Roll-Up Doors and Method for Securing Same
A roll-up door including a flexible curtain having a front surface, a back surface, a first end coupled to a shaft, a second end opposite the first end, and first and second side edges extending between the first end and the second end, the flexible curtain being moveable between a retracted position wherein the flexible curtain is coiled around the shaft and a deployed position wherein the flexible curtain is uncoiled from the shaft. A first retention band is mounted along at least a portion of the first side edge of the flexible curtain, the first retention band including an inner surface at least partially facing towards the flexible curtain, an outer surface opposite the inner surface, a fixed edge attached to the flexible curtain generally parallel to the first side edge, and a free edge opposite the fixed edge and movable relative to the fixed edge.
Roller door blades and roller doors
Roller doors made of flexible material have a number of uses, particularly for rapid access into cool stores. However, such doors require stiffening in the form of wind bars to prevent the doors blowing out in gusts of wind. The wind bars produce problems when rapidly closing a roller door, as the door blade of the roller door is rolled up onto a roller. And for doors in cool stores that are opened and closed hundreds of times a day, such problems are significant. The present roller door blade solves or minimizes the problems by fitting longitudinal spacer elements along the length of the door which act to provide space between adjacent layers of the door blade as it accumulates on the roller, allowing any wind bars of the door blade to be stowed on the roller without interfering or clashing with other wind bars.
Roller-shutter door system
A roller-shutter door system comprises a pair of opposed substantially parallel guide rails and a door formed by longitudinally hinged door slats coupled to a retraction roller. The door can be opened and closed with rotation of the retraction roller, and longitudinal ends of the door slats ride within door guide channels in the guide rails. Exterior side seals may cover a gap between the door slats and the door guide channels, and wear shields may be interposed between coated exterior surfaces of the door slats and the side seals so that the side seals bear on the wear shields instead of the coated exterior surfaces. The guide rails may have equipment channels on interior sides thereof, and radius guides may be releasably received in open superior ends of the equipment channels. The radius guides have outwardly facing guide surfaces to guide the door slats toward the retraction roller.
Curtain of a vertical sliding roll-up door, provided with a lateral air seal
A vertically sliding roll-up door has a portal structure including vertical uprights provided with guide rails for guiding the sliding of blocks fixed along the lateral edges of the curtain, to allow the curtain to move vertically with respect to the portal structure. The curtain includes air-sealing gaskets which extend substantially over the entire length of the longitudinal edges of the curtain at the blocks, in order to lock the passage of air between the guide rails and the blocks.
Low friction high speed roll door at high wind loads
A high speed roll door is movable between an open and a closed position at an opening of a building. The door includes a flexible curtain and a pair of side columns. Each side column provides an inner track to guide the curtain in vertical movement and restrain the curtain from lateral movement during deployment and retraction. The curtain further includes multiple cross bars supporting the flexible curtain from one of the pair of side columns to the other. Each of the cross bars further includes a first longitudinal bar sandwiching part of the curtain; and a second longitudinal bar pivotally connected to the first longitudinal bar. The hinge has an axis of rotation parallel to the first and the second longitudinal bars. At least a wheel is rotatably affixed to each end of the second longitudinal bar to engage the inner track of each of the side columns.
DOOR COMPRISING A GUIDE ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a door comprising a door leaf (10) which can be moved between an open position and a closed position and a guide arrangement for guiding the movement of the door leaf along a predefined path between the open position in the closed position, wherein the guide arrangement has at least one guide web (100) which is arranged fixedly with respect to a wall opening, extends at least along a portion of the predetermined path, and has two outer boundary surfaces (102, 104) and at least two guide devices (32, 34) which are fastened to the door leaf (10), wherein a first outer boundary surface (102) of the guide web (100) forms a surface for a first guide device (32) and the second outer boundary surface (104) of the guide web (100) forms a second guide surface (104) for a second guide device (34). Magnetic devices (1000, 1010, 1100) can be arranged on the door leaf and on the guide bar for guiding in a contactless manner.
Vertically movable gate with a gate panel
The invention relates to a vertically movable gate with a gate panel comprising several gate panel segments, where two adjacent gate panel segments are each hingedly connected to one another by way of at least one hinge, and with a motorized drive which transmits a force for lifting and lowering the gate panel via at least one drive means to the gate panel, and a connection means for connecting the drive means to the gate panel. Gates of the type mentioned at the outset are improved according to the invention such that, though such a gate can be moved easily between an open and a closed position largely independent of the forces arising, it nevertheless provides a compact and simultaneously stable and fail-safe design in that several gate panel segments are each individually connected to the drive means.
FIRE RATED DOOR
A closure may include a door configured to seal an opening. The door may include a section with an internal cavity. The closure may also include a core within a first portion of the internal cavity of the section. The core may be configured to expand from a relaxed state to an expanded state and provide a seal between the door and an edge of the opening when the core is in the expanded state.
Roll-up dual curtain closure system
A dual curtain closure system for covering a portal wherein each curtain has a length greater than the length of the lateral margins of the portal, a first end fixedly attached across the portal at an upper end thereof, and a second end folded back on itself to define an upwardly opening pocket. An elongated rod is supported within each pocket. A first spindle winds and unwinds the first curtain and a second spindle winds and unwinds the second curtain. A drive motor is operable to simultaneously rotate the first and second spindles such that the upwardly opening pockets of the curtains are concomitantly raised or lowered. A predetermined distance between the rods is maintained as the pockets are raised or lowered, which facilitates sealing of the curtains to the lateral margins of the portal as the curtains are lowered.
