Each barrier unit includes two front barrier ropes and two rear barrier ropes. Each front barrier rope has a front portion extending across and disposed forwardly of the pull cord, and a first intersection portion connected to the front portion. Each rear barrier rope has a rear portion extending across and disposed rearward of the pull cord, and a second intersection portion connected to the rear portion and intersecting and disposed forwardly of the first intersection portion.
End piece for a sunshade's edge rail and sunshade
The end piece of sunshade's edge rail comprises an end plate, which includes a first edge surface, a second edge surface and a first end surface. The end plate further includes a second end surface, which is to be placed against an end of the edge rail and which has at least one gripping protrusion adaptable to fit inside the edge rail. The end plate is further provided with a first hole for the penetration of a guiding string. The end piece is further provided with a string channel, which includes a first end opening onto the first edge surface and a second end opening onto the second edge surface. The first hole opens into the string channel. A guiding string included in the sunshade can be extended into the first hole by way of the string channel.
CABLE GUIDED SHADE HEM BAR TO CABLE ATTACHMENT
A hem bar of a cable guided shade adapted to be removably attached to a pair of cables secured along opposite sides of a structural opening. The hem bar comprises a pair of cable engaging portions disposed at two opposite ends of the hem bar. Each cable engaging portion comprises a tubular body with a longitudinal channel extending therein and a slot traversing the tubular body from the top end to the bottom end of the tubular body. The hem bar may removably and slidably engage the pair of cables by twisting the hem bar in a first direction to align each slot in the cable engaging portions with a length of the respective cable, inserting the cables through the slots into the channels in the cable engaging portions of the hem bar, and twisting the hem bar in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to capture the cables within the channels in the cable engaging portions.
Wind Damage Abating System
A wind damage abating system for protecting a dwelling from damaging winds includes a dwelling. A covering is mounted on a roof of the dwelling and is selectively extended downwardly from the roof to protect the dwelling from damaging winds. An extracting unit is positioned on a ground surface adjacent to the dwelling and is mechanically coupled to the covering. The extracting unit pulls the covering downwardly from the roof of the dwelling.
ROLLER BLIND END BRACKET WITH FASCIA SUPPORT
An end bracket for a roller blind for use with a fascia is provided. The end bracket includes a plate adapted for mounting to a surface. The plate has a side flange and a roller tube mounting portion for supporting an end of a roller tube of the roller blind. The end bracket also includes a support segment pivotally coupled to the side flange of the plate. The support segment is pivotable between a first position, in which the support segment extends generally parallel to the roller tube mounting portion, and a second position, in which the support segment extends outwardly from, and generally perpendicular to, the roller tube mounting portion. When in the first position, the support segment is releasably securable to a fascia panel. When in the second position, the support segment permits unobstructed access to the roller tube mounting portion.
Pull across roll up screen assembly
A pull across screen assembly has a flexible screen member (e.g. flymesh) wound about a vertical rod positioned at one side of the opening. A line member arrangement is attached to the front of the screen member and part of the line member winds about a tapered drum which is positioned on top of rod and which rotates with rotation of the rod. The arrangement allows the screen member to be tensioned and also to be balanced as it is pulled across the opening.
SCREEN DEVICE
A screen device includes a cylinder body, a movable frame and two first frame materials, wherein the cylinder body and the movable frame are disposed between the two first frame materials, and a rolling bar is disposed in the cylinder body; a screen is disposed between the rolling bar and the movable frame, and at least one rotating member is disposed in the cylinder body; at least one pull line penetrates the movable frame, and at least one end of the pull line penetrates the first frame material to extend into the cylinder body, and is then combined to the rotating member; the rotating member is disposed on a side portion of the cylinder body, and therefore, the rotating member can be adjusted and controlled only by using a tool on the side portion of the cylinder body, so as to adjust and control the tightness of the pull line when needed. The process thereof is completely free from blockages caused by any component, and adjustment and control is really convenient.
Screen system
A screen system for use with a sliding panel of a window or door to screen an opening as the sliding panel or door is opened. The screen is attached to the edge of the sliding panel adjacent the opening, and is wound onto a spindle. The spindle is rotatably mounted adjacent the screen opening so that the screen can be unwound from or wound onto the spindle. A cord is connected between the sliding panel and the spindle pulley via an idler pulley. The spindle is caused to rotate to wind the screen onto the spindle as the sliding panel is slid towards the closed position. While the screen is wound off the spindle, the cord is wound onto the spindle pulley and vice versa. A tension adjustment arrangement is provided for adjusting the tension in the cable as the screen is wound and unwound from the spindle.
RETAINING DEVICE FOR AN OPERATING MEMBER OF A WINDOW SHADE AND WINDOW SHADE USING THE SAME
A retaining device for an operating member of a window shade includes a casing having an opening, a sliding part having a first and a second inner cavity, and a spring respectively connected with the sliding part and the casing. The sliding part is assembled with the casing, and is movable between a first and a second position, wherein the sliding part in the first position occludes the opening and has the first inner cavity exposed for insertion of an operating member of a window shade, and the sliding part in the second position has the first inner cavity retracted toward an interior of the casing while the second inner cavity overlaps with the opening for facilitating travel of an operating member of a window shade through the opening and the second inner cavity. The spring is operable to urge the sliding part to move toward the first position.
Roll-Up Doors and Method for Securing Same
A roll-up door including a flexible curtain having a front surface, a back surface, a first end coupled to a shaft, a second end opposite the first end, and first and second side edges extending between the first end and the second end, the flexible curtain being moveable between a retracted position wherein the flexible curtain is coiled around the shaft and a deployed position wherein the flexible curtain is uncoiled from the shaft. A first retention band is mounted along at least a portion of the first side edge of the flexible curtain, the first retention band including an inner surface at least partially facing towards the flexible curtain, an outer surface opposite the inner surface, a fixed edge attached to the flexible curtain generally parallel to the first side edge, and a free edge opposite the fixed edge and movable relative to the fixed edge.
