A hem bar of a cable guided shade adapted to be removably attached to a pair of cables secured along opposite sides of a structural opening. The hem bar comprises a pair of cable engaging portions disposed at two opposite ends of the hem bar. Each cable engaging portion comprises a tubular body with a longitudinal channel extending therein and a slot traversing the tubular body from the top end to the bottom end of the tubular body. The hem bar may removably and slidably engage the pair of cables by twisting the hem bar in a first direction to align each slot in the cable engaging portions with a length of the respective cable, inserting the cables through the slots into the channels in the cable engaging portions of the hem bar, and twisting the hem bar in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to capture the cables within the channels in the cable engaging portions.

Perimeter light blockout system

A perimeter light blockout system for minimizing light leakage between light gaps such as, for example, between the sides of a covering (e.g., shade) of an architectural-structure covering and the interior side surfaces of a window frame, or between the covering and the outer surface of an interior wall is disclosed. The perimeter light blockout system including a light blocking device and a mounting element for coupling the light blocking device to the interior side surface of the window frame, or the outer surface of the interior wall. The light blocking device may include rear and front channel members. The mounting element may be a mounting extrusion. Alternatively, the mounting element may be a spring clip. In use, the light blocking device may be adapted and configured so as not to contact the covering as the covering moves between extended and retracted positions. The mounting element may include a degree of adjustment so that the light blocking device may be aligned with an out-of-skew window frame.

VALANCE ASSEMBLY

A valance kit and mounting assembly secure a valance adjacent a window frame. A mounting block is securable in a clamp ring cavity of the window frame and includes a snap connector on the frame side thereof and a valance groove in each of the top and bottom sides thereof. The valance grooves extend in a width direction across the mounting block and have a depth dimension parallel with a plane of the window opening. A valance assembly includes a plurality of shrouds that together define the valance. Each of the shrouds is provided with a pair of snap ridges disposed facing each other and spaced substantially corresponding to a space between the top and bottom sides of the mounting block. The snap ridges are sized and positioned to engage the valance grooves in a snap fit. The universal mounting block is suitable for mounting various types of window treatments.

MODULAR CLUTCH ASSEMBLY FOR A WINDOW COVERING

The present disclosure relates to a system for supporting a roller clutch assembly for a fabric covering. The system includes a housing assembly with a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side. At least one of the first, second, third, and fourth sides defines a mounting interface of the housing assembly within a depth of the housing assembly. The system also includes a bracket received within the depth of the housing assembly and which is removably coupled to the mounting interface.

Upper guide track and assembly for a retractable screen

An upper guide track assembly for a retractable screen is described. The assembly comprises a U shaped guide channel, a track attachment member for attaching the assembly to a support, a track outer member connectable to the attachment member and a screen retaining member within the guide channel. The retaining member receives and retains an upper edge of a screen. The retaining member has two resilient wings extending from either side of the body. Each wing is biased towards a position in which the distal end of each wing is away from the body. The wings are moveable against the bias to a retracted position. When the retaining member is retained in the guide channel, each wing is held in the retracted position against the bias. This allows an upper edge of a screen retained by the screen retaining member to be biased in the vertical direction.

DOOR ASSEMBLY WITH FLEXIBLE DOOR HAVING AUTOMATICALLY LOCKING BOTTOM BAR
20200240205 · 2020-07-30 ·

A door assembly with a flexible door movable between a retracted position and an extended position and having interconnected elongate slats having two lateral ends to form respective lateral edges of the flexible door. An automatically-locking bottom bar connects to a bottom-most slat of the flexible door. The bottom bar has anchors extending from the lateral ends thereof, the anchors extending beyond the respective lateral edges of the flexible door. A pair of guide channels receives the respective lateral edges of the flexible door, each guide channel having a reduced width portion in a bottom portion thereof to receive a respective one of the anchors when the bottom bar passes into the bottom portion of the pair of guide channels, the reduced width portion being laterally spaced from a lateral end of each said guide channel so that the respective anchor is locked in each said guide channel.
