The invention concerns an operator assembly for a movable barrier. The operator assembly includes a motor with a motor output shaft, an output drive to transfer drive to the movable barrier, and a transmission assembly to transfer drive from the motor output shaft to the output drive. The output drive is rotatable in a clockwise direction and in a counterclockwise direction, depending on whether the movable barrier is closing or opening. The output drive comprises a crown wheel rotatable about an output drive axis centre of rotation and having an outer face provided with a plurality of attachment points spaced from said centre of rotation. The operator assembly also includes an output drive adaptor apparatus, the output drive adaptor apparatus including: one or more adaptor portions configured to be removably mounted to the crown wheel through engagement with the plurality of attachment points, and an output drive portion that is concentric with the crown wheel and arranged to drive motion of the movable barrier.

The limit mechanism further includes at least one limiter structure coupled to the rotatable cup and at least one fixed switch, and is configured to stop rotation of the load shaft when the limiter structure engages the fixed switch.

MOTORIZED WINDOW TREATMENT

A motorized window treatment provides a low-cost solution for controlling the amount of daylight entering a space through a window. The window treatment includes a covering material, a drive shaft, at least one lift cord rotatably received around the drive shaft and connected to the covering material, and a motor coupled to the drive shaft for raising and lowering the covering material. The window treatment also includes a spring assist unit for assisting the motor by providing a torque that equals the torque provided by the weight on the cords that lift the covering material at a position midway between fully-open and fully-closed positions, which helps to minimize motor usage and conserve battery life if a battery is used to power the motorized window treatment. The window treatment may comprise a photosensor for measuring the amount of daylight outside the window and temperature sensors for measuring the temperatures inside and outside of the window. The position of the covering material may be automatically controlled in response to the photosensor and the temperature sensors to save energy, or may also be controlled in response to an infrared or radio-frequency remote control.
