SAFETY DEVICE FOR A CHAIN OF A SHADE
20190040678 · 2019-02-07 ·

The safety device for a chain of a shade.

The invention proposes the development of a tamper-proof safety device configured for a chain of a shade, such as the roller type, which, when not being used, is fixed to the body of the chain, and when being used, the chain is free to slide in order to perform the raising and lowering operations of the roller shade.

Shade Winding/release Controller

A shade winding/release controller includes a casing having a first locating cavity and a second locating cavity. A pulling wheel is rotatably mounted in the first locating cavity. A fixed toothed seat is fixed in the casing and includes a first inner toothed portion. A driving member is mounted in the fixed toothed seat and is connected to the pulling wheel. At least one transmission wheel is connected to and driven by the driving member. The at least one transmission wheel includes coaxially disposed first and second outer toothed portions having different specifications. The first outer toothed portion meshes with the first inner toothed portion of the fixed toothed seat. A shaft-coupling toothed seat is rotatably mounted in the second locating cavity. The shaft-coupling toothed seat includes a second toothed portion meshed with the outer toothed portion.

Support connector control

The support connector system includes a first shade band having a support connector and a lock that receives the support connector. The lock includes a first opening in a first position, wherein the first opening is configured to receive the support connector and configured to restrict rotation of the support connector. The lock includes a second opening in a second position, wherein the second opening is configured to receive the support connector and configured to allow rotation of the support connector.

Semi-rigid chain for a window treatment
12065877 · 2024-08-20 · ·

A manually-operated window treatment system includes a roller tube, a covering material, and a chain (e.g., a semi-rigid chain). The roller tube is supported at opposed ends thereof. The covering material is attached to the roller tube. The covering material is operable between a raised position and a lowered position via rotation of the roller tube. The chain is configured to be operated by a user to rotate the roller tube. The chain has a first minimum bend radius when bent in a first direction and a second minimum bend radius when bent in a second direction. The first minimum bend radius is less than the second minimum bend radius.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR USE WITH BLINDS AND LOUVRES
20180320439 · 2018-11-08 ·

The invention to which this application relates is apparatus and a method for use with blinds and louvres, hereinafter referred to, in a non-limiting manner, as blinds and which includes roller blinds, roman blinds and Venetian blinds. The apparatus and method allows the free end of the blind to be selectively positioned and retained at a predetermined position intermediate the fully retracted and fully extended positions and to be retained at that position.

CENTER DROP SHADE MOUNT

A covering for an architectural opening includes a bracket, a shaft coupled to the bracket, and a roller assembly coupled to the bracket, the roller assembly including, a material roll with a covering material, and a drive roller drivingly coupled to the material roll and operable to rotate with respect to the bracket about a first rotational axis, wherein the covering material includes a first portion that extends between the material roll and the shaft.

External motor drive system for window covering system with continuous cord loop

A motor drive system for operating a mechanism for raising and lowering window coverings includes a motor operating under electrical power and an electrically powered drive system. The motor drive system advances a continuous cord loop in response to positional commands from a controller. An input-output device includes a capacitive touch strip that receives user inputs along an input axis, and an LEDs strip aligned with the input axis. A group mode module communicates the positional commands to other motor drive systems within an identified group to operate respective other mechanisms of the other motor drive systems. A set control module enables user calibration of a top position and a bottom position of travel of the window covering. The input-output device extends vertically on the exterior of a housing for the motor drive system, and the housing supports input buttons of the group mode module and the set control module.

GEARED BRACKET FOR A WINDOW SHADE

The geared window shade bracket comprises a sprocket having a ring gear on an inside circumference of the sprocket; a chain configured to be engaged with the sprocket such that, in response to pulling on the chain, the sprocket rotates; a sun gear that is configured to be restricted from rotation; one or more planet gears configured to rotate around the sun gear, wherein the one or more planet gears interface with the ring gear; and a planetary carrier configured to mate with the one or more planet gears. In response to the chain being pulled, the sprocket rotates, causing the planet gears to rotate, causing the planetary carrier to rotate, causing the hub to rotate, and causing a shade tube to rotate.

ENCLOSED BLIND CONTROL

A blind having a blind operating mechanism and a blind control element and having an enclosure for the blind control element, with the element completely enclosed, a connector supporting the enclosure on the blind, and depending downwardly, and a drive device at the lower end of the enclosure for operating the element.

MODULAR, ROLL-DOWN AIRFLOW CONTROL APPARATUS
20180283091 · 2018-10-04 ·

A modular roll down airflow control apparatus for use in typically refrigerated and insulated truck or transport vehicle boxes. The modular roll down airflow control apparatus includes a curtain assembly, a mandrel assembly (upon which the curtain assembly may be wound under spring bias), a pair of brackets (coupled to a wall near a ceiling of a truck box or cargo compartment that support the mandrel assembly), locking brackets (coupled to a wall near a floor of a truck box or cargo compartment that hold the curtain assembly down by engaging rods disposed in the curtain at intervals), and a plurality of edging seals (that may be coupled to the side walls of the cargo compartment and the curtain edges press against to form a seal). Air pressure in the cargo box typically acts to advantageously press the curtain edges against the edging seals forming a seal to prevent the escape of cold air and maintain a refrigerated space in the cargo compartment.
