Retractable support connector
An improved roller shade system provides increased support, additional adjustments and/or increased safety. The slip plate allows the brake to slip forward and minimize damage to the clutch spring when a user pulls too hard on the hembar. The center drive mechanism extends through a bracket to allow the drive shaft to distribute power in both directions and drive two shade tube simultaneously. The tube adapter absorbs force from the spinning shade tube to minimize damage to the other components and the bead chain. The sprocket has a back wall supporting the sprocket, allowing the sprocket 130 to rest on the back flange of the sun gear to minimize pressure on the gears. An adjustment arm is adjusted to help level the shade band. The shade bands may be removed without disturbing the other shade bands in the system. A height of a hembar may be adjusted by rotating a rod within the hembar.
FRICTION SLIP RING FOR A DRIVE MECHANISM
A window shade system may comprise a drive mechanism having a friction slip ring inside a brake hub, wherein the brake hub is configured to rotate with respect to the friction slip ring, in response to an at least partial rotation of the drive mechanism. The brake hub may be configured to overcome a break-away force between the drive hub and the friction slip ring. The brake hub may be configured to overcome a break-away force between the drive hub and the friction slip ring. The brake hub may be configured to overcome a break-away force of about double a maximum force that a window shade exerts on the friction slip ring. The system may include a spring plunger system abutting a bracket, wherein the spring plunger system may be configured to reduce friction against the bracket in response to a first at least partial rotation of a drive mechanism.

Semi-rigid chain assembly
A manually-operated window treatment system may include a roller tube, a covering material, and a semi-rigid chain assembly. The covering material may be attached to the roller tube and may be operable between a raised position and a lowered position via rotation of the roller tube. The semi-rigid chain assembly may be configured to be operated by a user to rotate the roller tube. The semi-rigid chain assembly may be configured to limit the size of a loop that can be formed by the semi-rigid chain assembly. The semi-rigid chain assembly may be operatively coupled to a drive pulley of the window treatment system. The semi-rigid chain assembly may include flexible outer housing and a stiffening rod. The flexible housing may surround and operate along the stiffening rod. The hollow chain may include multiple links that are connected together to form a continuous loop.
SEMI-RIGID CHAIN ASSEMBLY

Manual window treatment having a floating chain tensioner
A manual drive assembly for a manually-operated window treatment based on a drive chain formed as a loop, may incorporate one or more intermediate tensioners disposed between two ends of the loop. The loop may be formed between a manual clutch mechanism coupled to the window treatment and an end tensioner. The one or more intermediate tensioners may serve to limit slack in the loop such that sides of the loop cannot be pulled to create a large loop, for example, having a gap of four inches or greater, between the hanging sides of the cord.
Window Shade
A window shade includes a reel and a roller pivotally connected with a head frame at two spaced-apart positions, a clutch operatively connected with the roller and switchable between an engaged state preventing the roller from rotating in a first direction and a disengaged state for rotation of the roller in an opposite second direction, and a panel assembly including multiple transversal vanes respectively connected with a first and a second panel. The reel is rotatable to wind and unwind the panel assembly with the first panel remaining in contact with the roller. The panel assembly is switchable between an open state for light passage and a closed state blocking light passage by rotating the transversal vanes. The reel is rotatable in an unwinding direction while the roller is kept stationary by the clutch in the engaged state for switching the panel assembly from the closed to open state.
CLIP WITH A RUBBER LINING FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOLDING CURTAINS
A curtain clip that can be used to hold bunched up curtains to the side, and does not slide vertically because a rubber lining affixed along the inside edge prevents the curtain clip from sliding vertically. The rubber lining prevents the curtain clip from sliding on sheer curtains and other curtains that have a somewhat slippery surface texture. The curtain clip also eliminates ropes and tie backs that would otherwise have to be permanently affixed to the window frame or wall using screws or other fastening devices
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING BLIND ROLLERS
An apparatus supports two blind rollers from a headrail in one of at least eight configurations. Each blind roller has a first end coupled to a first blind control mechanism and a second end coupled to a second blind control mechanism. The apparatus includes a bracket having a top flange for coupling the bracket to an end of the headrail. An inner face of the bracket has an upper engagement projection configured to secure at least one of: the first blind control mechanism for the upper blind roller in one of two mechanism orientations, and the second blind control mechanism for the upper blind roller. The inner face also has at least two lower engagement recesses, each configured to receive a lower engagement connector, the projection configured to secure at least one of the first blind control mechanism and the second blind control mechanism for the lower blind roller.
