ADJUSTABLE HEMBAR

An improved roller shade system provides increased support, additional adjustments and/or increased safety. The slip plate allows the brake to slip forward and minimize damage to the clutch spring when a user pulls too hard on the hembar. The center drive mechanism extends through a bracket to allow the drive shaft to distribute power in both directions and drive two shade tube simultaneously. The tube adapter absorbs force from the spinning shade tube to minimize damage to the other components and the bead chain. The sprocket has a back wall supporting the sprocket, allowing the sprocket 130 to rest on the back flange of the sun gear to minimize pressure on the gears. An adjustment arm is adjusted to help level the shade band. The shade bands may be removed without disturbing the other shade bands in the system. A height of a hembar may be adjusted by rotating a rod within the hembar.

ROLLER SHADE ASSEMBLY

A roller shade assembly includes a roller tube including a first end opposite a second end, the roller tube defining an opening longitudinally extending between the first and second ends, and an idler assembly partially received by the opening at the first end, the idler assembly including an idler housing, a plunger received by the idler housing, and a biasing member configured to apply a biasing force onto the plunger, wherein the plunger is configured to slide relative to the idler housing, and the plunger is configured to selectively engage a bracket member.

A shroud for the drive chain of a roller blind. The drive chain has s a series of balls mounted on a cord or wire and is in the form of a pair of leg members forming a loop. The shroud comprises an elongate body having opposed open ends with an internal passageway extending therebetween. The body has an enclosed exterior surface extending between the open ends. A longitudinal internal baffle may extend between the open ends, segmenting the internal passageway into two longitudinal channels, each channel extending between the open ends and dimensioned to slidably receive one of the pair of chain leg members therethrough. The baffle may have a longitudinal slot extending along its length, where the slot is dimensioned to permit the receipt of the cord or wire of the drive chain, and is dimensioned to preclude the passage of the balls of the drive chain therethrough.

Drive hub dampening posts

A window shade system may comprise a drive hub having a dampener comprised of dampening material, wherein the drive hub engages with at least one of a shade tube or a brake hub. The dampener may include one or more tabs that engage the brake hub. The dampener may be configured to dampen the torque from a spinning of the shade tube. The dampener may be comprised of urethane. The dampener may be incorporated onto an outside surface of the drive hub. The dampener may be located within the drive hub. The drive hub may be in the form of a cap that fits over the dampener. The drive hub may include rounded corners. The dampener may be configured in the form of one or more cylindrical rods.

Kit of parts for assembling a control assembly for a roller blind

A kit of parts for assembling a control assembly for a roller blind includes a plurality of driven parts each having a tubular body with a different diameter and/or profile adapted to be inserted into and drivingly engage a respective roller blind tube. The kit further includes a plurality of mounting parts each having an outer face incorporating a different arrangement of securing formations adapted to be engageable with a respective mounting bracket, and a drive part including (i) a housing adapted to be coupled with any one of the mounting parts and (ii) a drive rotatingly mounted within the housing and adapted to be coupled with any one of the driven parts.
