SAFETY TRANSITION LADDER
A safety transition ladder, including a fall prevention enclosure that includes a ladder enclosure section and a platform enclosure section, wherein the platform enclosure section includes a plurality of platforms that are accessible from the ladder enclosure section and an opening of a railcar, and a plurality of connectors that are configured to attach the safety transition ladder to a ladder of the railcar.
Mobile storage system with elevated platform
A movable storage assembly has first and second mobile storage units that are selectively movable towards and away from one another and are equipped with a deployable and retractable (or installable and removable) platform to facilitate access to upper regions of the storage units. The platform is movably coupled to one of the mobile storage units and can be repositioned between a deployed or installed position in which the platform interlocks the first storage unit to the second storage forming an elevated walking or standing surface therebetween, and a retracted or removed position in which the platform is partially disconnected to allow the first mobile storage unit to move independently and into close proximity with the second mobile storage unit.

MOBILE STORAGE SYSTEM WITH ELEVATED PLATFORM
A movable storage assembly includes a pair of upright frame pieces joined together by a lateral rail. The rail's opposite ends each include a T-shaped upper tab having upward and downward extending portions, and a lower tab with downwardly extending portion. The upper and lower tabs are simultaneously insertable into upper and lower openings along the uprights, and then lowerable so that the downward portions of the upper and lower tabs secure the rail to the uprights. Upward movement of the rail causes the upward portions of the upper tabs of engage the uprights above the upper openings, preventing removal of the upper tabs from the uprights. Optionally, part of a platform is supportable at the rail and cooperates with the upper tabs to prevent removal of the lateral rail from the uprights, even if the downwardly extending portions of the tabs are disengaged from the uprights.

Walkthrough and standoff mechanisms for ladders, ladders incorporating same and related methods
A ladder and ladder accessory are provided including an accessory that may be coupled to the ladder in multiple configurations and serve multiple purposes. In one embodiment, a pair of components are each selectively coupled with associated rails of a ladder in a first, stored state, and a second, walkthrough state. When in the walkthrough state, the components extend upwards from and above the rails so that a user may gasp the components and step between the components when transitioning from the ladder to an elevated surface (e.g., a roof) or vice versa. In another embodiment, the components may be coupled to the ladder such that they extend in a direction that is substantially transverse to a plane through which the rails extend. When in this transverse orientation, the components may be used as a stand-off device.
Enhanced safety cage apparatus for work areas on top of rolling stock such as rail tank cars
A cage for surrounding a section of a work area of the top of rolling stock includes an inboard side, an outboard side, a front end section and a back end section. The inboard side of the cage is attached to an associated deployment apparatus. Each of the two sides can define a pair of fence notches to slide over the rails surrounding the work area. Each of the two end sections can define an inboard notch and a center notch. Some embodiments of the end sections can define an outboard notch that includes a self-adjusting straddle. The cage can be provided as part of a portable fall protection device that includes a telescoping positioning mechanism.

Foldable picking ladder cart
A foldable ladder cart including a main shaft, an upper loading board, a lower loading board, an upper brace, and a lower brace is provided. The upper loading board is connected to the main shaft, and is pivotally movable between a first and a second position. The lower loading board is connected to the main shaft, and is pivotally movable between a third and a fourth positions. The upper brace is connected to the upper loading board and the main shaft; the lower brace is connected to the main shaft and the lower loading board. When the upper and the lower braces are in supporting positions, the upper loading board and the main shaft are in the first and the third positions. When the upper and the lower braces are in folded positions, the upper loading board and the main shaft are in the second and the fourth positions.
