Extendable walkthrough device for ladders

Various embodiments of ladders and ladder components are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder includes a first rail, a second rail spaced apart from the first rail, and a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first rail and the second rail. A walkthrough device may include a first component having a sleeve coupled to the first rail and a pole a pole slidably coupled to the sleeve between at least two positions including a retracted position and an extended position. In some embodiments, the sleeve may be fixedly coupled with the first rail and intended to remain attached (e.g., not intended for removal by a user). In another embodiment, the first component may be removably attached to the first rail so that a user may utilize and employ the device, and subsequently remove it, as desired.

FOLDING ELEVATED WORKING PLATFORM

Elevated work platform apparatuses, as well as associated methods, are provided. One elevated platform apparatus comprises a first assembly having a pair of rails coupled with a plurality of rungs, a second assembly hingedly coupled with the first assembly, a platform pivotally coupled with the first assembly and configured to extend to, and engage a portion of, the second assembly. The apparatus further includes a cage associated with the platform. The cage may include a guard structure including a pair of gates. A locking mechanism may be associated with the platform and include a latch member for engagement with a cross-member of the second assembly. Actuation of the locking member may include a “pulling” action by a user standing in front of the apparatus and reaching between the two rails of the first assembly.

LADDER SAFETY DEVICE
20220136328 · 2022-05-05 ·

A ladder safety device (2) for removably securing a ladder (40) to a parapet wall (36) of a rooftop (38), including: a pair of support clamps (4) securable to the parapet wall (36), each said support clamp (4) including a first support member (10), a second support member (12), and an extended arm (14) joining said first support member (10) to said second support member (12), wherein a distance between said support members (10, 12) defines a width adjustable to the width of the parapet wall (36); an elongate plate (6) connecting said pair of support clamps (4) to each other; and at least one ladder hook (8) extending from said elongate plate (6) for securely receiving a rung of the ladder (40).

Telescopic positioning structure used for ladder

A telescopic positioning structure used for a ladder is disclosed. The ladder includes a front supporting leg and a rear supporting leg. The front supporting leg includes a first tube and a second tube, and the first tube and the second tube are able to move relative to each other in an extension direction. The rear supporting leg is rotatably connected with the first tube. The ladder further includes a pin connected with the first tube. When the rear supporting leg is unfolded, an upper end of the rear supporting leg abuts against the pin and drives to the pin to move towards the second tube, and when the pin abuts against the second tube, the second tube is positioned.

A ladder docking device including a ladder securement device and a pair of handrails is provided. The ladder securement device secures a ladder in an assigned location so that using the ladder while carrying tools and equipment up the ladder becomes safer and more secure. Specifically, the ladder securement device captures one of the ladder rungs to help avoid the ladder bottom from slipping on unstable or slippery surfaces and from sliding off sideways. Handrails of the ladder docking device provide a safe transition when stepping off the ladder or stepping down from the roof.

Ladder with a guardrail
11225833 · 2022-01-18 ·

A ladder with a first guardrail locking system having a first pair of side rails with a first set of steps and a second pair of side rails with a second set of steps. The two sets of side rails are rotatably joined together by a pair of hinges at a first pair joining sections and a second pair joining sections. The first pair joining sections and the second pair joining sections have joint points such as indentations which engage the locking key of a first guardrail so that the first guardrail may be fixedly attached to the joining sections. The ladder may also have a second guardrail, wherein the second guardrail is attached to the first guardrail so that two guardrails form a ring around a user standing on a foldable stand of the ladder.
