A device is for a drilling rig for forming of a bore hole in a subterranean structure. As the fluid chamber is provided with pipe string ports comprising means arranged to, in a fluid sealing way, be able to close the pipe string ports. A power tong is arranged for continuous rotation of an element connected to the pipe string, as the power tong is arranged in the fluid chamber. An apparatus for rotating a tube or rod is provided. The tube or rod is supported from a mast of a rig and for insertion into a well. The apparatus includes a rotation member for rotating the tube or rod. The rotation member is mounted on the well such that in use, the tube or rod is fed into the rotation member, from above the rotation member, and into the well.

A downforce system includes a first frame assembly coupled to a slip assembly for engaging wellbore tubulars, a base member connected to the first frame assembly, and an actuator adapted to extend and/or retract the first frame assembly between a first position and a second position, wherein the second position is laterally displaced from the first position along a path formed by extension of the actuator, and wherein the base member is connected to the mast of the service rig.
