MEDICAL MODULE INCLUDING AUTOMATED DOSE-RESPONSE RECORD SYSTEM

An automated dose-response record system including a module for housing waste-heat producing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including at least one physiologic monitor, and including a system to measure, temporally correlate and record dose and response events.

IV GRAVITY DELIVERY MONITOR
20220118178 · 2022-04-21 ·

A monitoring system for a gravity infusion IV tubing includes a drip chamber having an inlet configured to receive fluid from a fluid source. The drip chamber also has an outlet configured to deliver fluid towards a patient. The system includes a pressure sensor pneumatically coupled with the drip chamber. The pressure sensor is configured to measure the pressure inside the drip chamber. A controller is configured to receive pressure measurements from the pressure sensor and to use the pressure measurements to count a number of drops entering the drip chamber from the fluid source.

RELOCATION MODULE AND METHODS FOR SURGICAL EQUIPMENT

Module for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a portable digital camera and processing circuitry with machine vision and machine learning software for automatically documenting healthcare events and healthcare equipment operations in the electronic health record.

FLUID CONNECTOR SYSTEM

Fluid connector systems including first and second valve assemblies couplable together to form a fluid pathway therethrough, and can resist fluid flow through the connector system when the valve assemblies are separated from each other, the first valve assembly including a post forming a fluid passage, and the second valve assembly including a valve plug positioned within a bore and configured to obstruct a fluid passage, such that when the valve assemblies are separated, a slit of the valve plug resist fluid flow therethrough, and when the valve assemblies are coupled together the post extends through the compressible valve and engagement of a ridge of the valve plug against the post resist fluid flow between the post and the ridge.

Fluid source management system

A fluid source management system (100) comprising a structure (101) that supports one or more fluid sources (103), sensors (102) that determine the fluid state of the fluid sources (103), at least one common reservoir (108) for storing the fluid, tubing (104) connecting the fluid sources (103) to the common fluid reservoir (108) and a controller (105) that controls the opening and closing of the tubing (104) based upon the fluid state of the fluid sources (103).

ENTERAL FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM

Disclosed is a system for administrating fluids to a patient, such as an infant. The system comprises a container that defines a drip chamber, a source of nutritive fluid fluidically communicating with the drip chamber, and a tube connecting the drip chamber to the gastric cavity of a patient, the chamber including a membrane that is gas-permeable but that is resistant to fluid passage. The system allows fluids to be introduced to the patient and for gastric gases to be released while they are resistant to the leak and spillage.
