Hollow boring auger
The present invention relates to a hollow boring auger for use for poles, including a first and second mounting part moveably connected, one to the other, to substantially encircle the pole. A first and second auger part are also included, correspondingly attachable to the first and second mounting part, to substantially encircle the pole, A rotation apparatus associated with the mounting parts and the auger parts is included such that in use the auger parts can be rotated about the pole to bore a hollow trench about the pole. The invention also relates to a method of use.
Transmission mechanism for electric drill and electric drill including the same
The invention provides a transmission mechanism for an electric drill and the electric drill including the transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism includes a primary planet carrier, a gear assembly, a secondary planet carrier, and a secondary gear assembly. The gear assembly comprises a primary gear ring and a primary gear set located in the primary gear ring. The primary gear set has two primary planetary gear sets mounted on the primary planetary gear shaft. The secondary planet carrier is provided with secondary planetary gear shafts and an output shaft. The secondary gear assembly includes a secondary gear ring and a secondary planetary gear set. The secondary planetary gear set is pivotably mounted on the secondary planetary gear shafts, an outer side of the secondary planetary gear set engages with the secondary gear ring, and an inner side of thereof engages with the sun gear.
Vehicular auger implement
A vehicular auger implement. The implement is configured to be operated by a single operator and comprises an auger having a bit. The implement includes a four bar linkage comprising a first bar, a second bar, a third bar, and a fourth bar. The first bar is coupled to each of the second bar and a hydraulically actuated arm. The auger is operably coupled to the fourth bar. The four bar linkage is configured to convert a rotational motion of the second bar to a vertical motion of the auger. A vehicle to which the auger implement is coupled is configured to remain stationary while a hole is bored using the vertical motion of the auger.
In-ground container installation apparatuses and auger blade assemblies
In-ground container installation apparatuses may include a housing support frame. An apparatus housing having a housing interior may be resiliently carried by the housing support frame in a plumb and pendulum configuration. The housing support frame may be mounted for axial displacement between a mixing position and a digging position with respect to the apparatus housing when the apparatus housing is in a stationary position. A drive motor may be provided on the housing support frame. An auger blade assembly may be drivingly engaged for rotation by the drive motor. The auger blade assembly may be disposed in the housing interior in the mixing position of the housing support frame and extend from the apparatus housing in the digging position of the housing support frame. Auger blade assemblies for driving engagement by a drive motor of an in-ground container installation apparatus are also disclosed.
Vehicular auger implement
A vehicular auger implement includes an auger having a bit; a walk-behind vehicle having front and rear ends, a forward anchor point, and a rear anchor point; linkage coupling the auger to the walk-behind vehicle; and an actuator for causing the linkage to move between raised and lowered configurations. The linkage includes first, second, and third links. The first link is coupled to the walk-behind vehicle and is rotatable about the forward anchor point. The second link is coupled to and is rotatable about the first link. The second link supports the auger. The third link is coupled to and is rotatable about the second link. The third link is also coupled to the walk-behind vehicle and is rotatable about the rear anchor point.
Lightweight electric earth drill
Disclosed is a lightweight electric earth drill including a mounting plate, a drill stem and an outer shell, a motor installed on the mounting plate and configured to drive the drill stem to rotate, a rechargeable battery configured to power the motor, and a controller configured to control the motor and electrically connected to the motor and the rechargeable battery. The lightweight electric earth drill is driven by the motor and has low noise, which causes less damage to health of the workers and does not disturb the residents around the construction site. The lightweight electric earth drill is powered by rechargeable battery or mains electricity without exhaust emission. The motor is controlled by the controller and rotates forwardly and reversely, enabling the drill bit to be pulled out after drilling the earth.
DIGGING APPARATUS
A digging apparatus (10, 300) is disclosed. The digging apparatus (10,300) includes a handle assembly (14, 14a, 314), a motor (32), a main switch (22, 322) electrically connected with the motor (32). The main switch (22,322) is movable between a first position in which operation of the motor (32) is allowed and a second position in which operation of the motor (32) is prevented, and a drilling bit (88, 88a, 388) is driven by the motor (32). The drilling bit (88, 88a, 388)has a longitudinal axis (P-P, M-M), and when the switch member (22, 322) is in the first position, the motor (32) is adapted to drive the drilling bit (88, 88a, 388) to rotate about the longitudinal axis (P-P, M-M) in a clockwise direction in response to pushing of the handle assembly (14, 14a, 314) in a direction towards the drilling bit (88, 88a, 388), and the motor (32) is adapted to drive the drilling bit (88, 88a, 388) to rotate about the longitudinal axis (P-P, M-M) in an anti-clockwise direction in response to pulling of the handle assembly (14, 14a, 314) in a direction away from the drilling bit (88, 88a, 388).
Drill string inground isolator in an MWD system and associated method
An inground isolator and associated method can provide an electrically isolated break in a drill string using electrical insulating members/isolators that are supported by a housing. During drill string operations, the isolators are subject only compressive forces responsive to both extension (pushing) and retraction (pulling) by the drill string. The isolators can be formed from an electrically insulating material such as a ceramic material. An interchangeable inground tool system is described which integrally serves to provide an electrically isolating gap in the drill string.
