The handheld wand is controllable to selectively discharge pressurized water from a nozzle at the distal tip. A non-metallic hollow shaft of the handheld wand is configured to be thrust into ground soil. The hollow shaft extends between the handle portion and the distal tip, and the hollow shaft has an outside diameter less than an outside diameter of the distal tip.

An auger rig for use for a portable ice auger is disclosed. The rig includes a support structure and an auger carriage movable between a raised position and a lowered position via a drive mechanism for drilling an ice hole. In illustrated embodiments, the rig is connectable to a vehicle or wheeled apparatus through a hitch attachment for transport. As described, the rig includes a throttle control feature to retain an auger in an idle mode while in the raised position and engage and rotate the blade of the auger as the auger carriage is lowered to drill a hole through the ice or other medium.

During operation, the drillshaft will typically be parallel with the mast. The rotating brace enables a huge number of multi-directional drilling (coring) options. The system can cut into concrete, but can also cut metal with the right kind of cylindrical bit, and do so at a variety of angles. The system can also bore into metal, steel, most anything used in residential or commercial construction. The system can core (bore) straight up in the air, straight downward, as well as a variety of angles in-between.

The beach umbrella tool comprises a T-shaped armature with an auger blade surrounding the bottom portion of a vertical main armature. A bearing at the top of the main armature may be held with one hand while the other hand is used to move a handle located at the end of a horizontal armature in circular motion. The resulting rotation of the T-shaped armature causes the auger blade to rotate and thereby remove sand from the beach beneath the beach umbrella tool. The bottom of a beach umbrella may be placed into the resulting hole.

The spraying device is configured discharge a stream of water passing therethrough so as to form a boring stream configured to bore a hole in a ground surface. In some embodiments, the spraying device is configured to rotatably discharge the pressurized stream of water. A depth collar disposed annularly about the housing defines the depth of the bored hole. A slot disposed along the housing allows debris from the boring process to exit the housing, leaving an empty bored hole.

Along the sides of the upright frame is a pair of ground support members that extend downward towards the ground to support the frame during operation, preventing the load from compressing the vehicle suspension or damaging the same. A winch controls the vertical positioning of the support frame within the dual-rail frame, which controls the position of a lifting or tool support subassembly. Many subassemblies are contemplated for use with the present invention for the purposes of assisting a user without requiring manual input therefrom. The device can also adjust with relation to the vehicle using different trailer hitch attachments.
