DOWNHOLE TOOL WITH RADIAL SHOCK ABSORBER AND STABILIZER
A device for use downhole in a drill string includes a body that is cylindrical. The body has a longitudinal axis and top and bottom threads that can couple the body to other elements of the drill string. A radial shock absorber is coupled to an exterior of the body. The radial shock absorber has a piston with a piston axis. A portion of the piston extends to an exterior of the body. The piston can move along the piston axis between a retracted position and an extended position. In addition, a spring is located between the body and the piston. The spring can bias the piston, along the piston axis, radially outward relative to the longitudinal axis of the body.
Workflow process for connecting multiple coiled tubing strings
Provided is a method for connecting coiled tubing strings, as well as a flexible stabbing snake. In one aspect, the method for connecting coiled tubing strings includes lowering a downhole end of a first coiled tubing string within a wellbore, and coupling an uphole end of the first coiled tubing string to a downhole end of a second coiled tubing string at a location between a coiled tubing injector and the wellbore to form a combined coiled tubing string. In at least one aspect, the method further includes lowering the combined coiled tubing string within the wellbore.
Coupling apparatus for coiled tubings of different diameters, installing method for coupling apparatus, and installing method for tubings of different diameters using coupling apparatus
A coupling apparatus for coiled tubings of different diameters includes a bottom joint, a top joint, and a back cap, where a gapped slip sleeve is provided on a fitting ring groove on an outer side of an upper portion of the bottom joint, and the gapped slip sleeve is coupled with the bottom joint via a rotation preventing element capable of preventing radial rotation of the gapped slip sleeve.
ROTATING JOINT AND COILED TUBING UNIT
A rotating joint apparatus includes a first section, a second section, and an interface between the first section and the second section. A bearing at the interface is configured such that the first section is rotatable relative to the second section. A main flow passage extends through the first section and the second section. A signal conductor is accessible, by a first connector on an exterior surface of the first section and, and by a second connector on an exterior surface of the second section. The signal conductor includes a signal transmission assembly at the interface.
WORKFLOW METHOD FOR CONNECTING COILED TUBING STRINGS FOR EXTENDED REACH APPLICATIONS
Provided is a method for connecting coiled tubing strings, and a coiled tubing working connector, in accordance with one aspect of the disclosure. The method for connecting coiled tubing strings, in one aspect, includes lowering a downhole end of a first coiled tubing string within a wellbore, an uphole end of the first coiled tubing string remaining outside of the wellbore. The method, in one aspect, further includes coupling the uphole end of the first coiled tubing string to a downhole end of a second coiled tubing string while the uphole end of the first coiled tubing string remaining outside of the wellbore to form a combined coiled tubing string, and lowering the combined coiled tubing string within the wellbore.

Method for Producing a Drill Shaft for a Wet Drill Bit
A method for producing a drill shaft for a wet drill bit includes forming N, where N≥1, strip materials into a tubular body where the tubular body is integrally joined at strip edges of the strip materials by N connection welds. At least one strip material of the strip materials is provided with at least one recess before the integral joining of the strip edges.
TUBING STRING WITH AGITATOR, TUBING DRIFT HAMMER TOOL, AND RELATED METHODS
A tubing string, such as a coiled tubing or jointed tubing string, has an agitator mounted within an interior of the tubing string at an intermediate position between an uphole end and a downhole end of the tubing string. A tubing agitator is structured to be installed within a tubing string. A method includes: forming or installing a seat within an interior of a tubing string at an intermediate position between an uphole end and a downhole end of the tubing string; and conveying an agitator through the interior of the tubing string until the agitator contacts the seat. A hammer drift tool is also described.
