Systems and methods presented herein facilitate operation of well-related tools. In certain embodiments, a variety of data (e.g., downhole data and/or surface data) may be collected to enable optimization of operations related to the well-related tools. In certain embodiments, the collected data may be provided as advisory data (e.g., presented to human operators of the well to inform control actions performed by the human operators) and/or used to facilitate automation of downhole processes and/or surface processes (e.g., which may be automatically performed by a computer implemented surface processing system (e.g., a well control system), without intervention from human operators). In certain embodiments, the systems and methods described herein may enhance downhole operations (e.g., milling operations) by improving the efficiency and utilization of data to enable performance optimization and improved resource controls of the downhole operations.

Method and assembly for downhole deployment of well equipment

An assembly for downhole deployment of well equipment, the assembly being above a coiled tubing which receives a part of a cable assembly and below a production pump, the assembly including: a split hanger fixing the cable assembly coming out of the coiled tubing; a seal connectable to the split hanger, configured to prevent formation fluid from entering the coiled tubing. The set of connectors includes: a coiled tubing connector, configured to connect the assembly to the coiled tubing; a lower connector, an upper part of the lower connector being adapted to receive, at least in part, the split hanger and the seal; an upper connector arranged above the lower connector; an adjusting nut; the upper connector and the adjusting nut being connectable to each other, thereby fixing the assembly relative to the coiled tubing; a lower part of the upper connector having an exit enabling the cable assembly to extend out of the assembly.

Coiled Tubing Connector with Internal Anchor and External Seal

A connector for a coiled tubing end anchors internally and seals externally. The anchor profile is split with a gap to clear an internal spline without need to remove the spline to allow a seal to enter the coiled tubing since the seal is mounted internally to a sleeve that envelops the end of the coiled tubing. Component relative rotation extends the internal anchor radially against the coiled tubing inner wall to secure the connection with the seal engaged to the coiled tubing outer wall.

COIL TUBING BOTTOM HOLE ASSEMBLY WITH REAL TIME DATA STREAM

Described are various embodiments of a coiled tubing bottom hole assembly system adapted for insertion into a borehole and determining parameters of interest within the borehole. The bottom hole assembly comprises a pressure sensor array for providing differential pressure measurements across the milling assembly, at least one accelerometer for providing acceleration measurements near the bottom hole assembly indicative of at least one of vibration, bit condition, rotational speed and translational parameters and a sensor assembly for providing a measurement of weight-on-bit and applied torque. A data processor adapted to receive inputs from the pressure sensor array, the at least one accelerometer and the sensor assembly. The data processor is also provided and further configured for integrating the differential pressure measurements, the acceleration measurements, the weight-on-bit measurements and torque measurements and providing the information associated with the measurements to a user or control system.

A device for use downhole in a drill string includes a body that is cylindrical. The body has a longitudinal axis and top and bottom threads that can couple the body to other elements of the drill string. A radial shock absorber is coupled to an exterior of the body. The radial shock absorber has a piston with a piston axis. A portion of the piston extends to an exterior of the body. The piston can move along the piston axis between a retracted position and an extended position. In addition, a spring is located between the body and the piston. The spring can bias the piston, along the piston axis, radially outward relative to the longitudinal axis of the body.
