Disclosed is a disposable needle filter apparatus with a universal truncated syringe-receiving neck to enable the filtration of fluids/solutions aspirated into a needle-bearing syringe. The apparatus includes a needle seal stopper and needle stop to create a substantially airtight chamber to facilitate fluid aspiration through an enclosed filter and into the syringe. In an alternative embodiment, the filter apparatus includes an extended syringe-receiving neck configured to receive a specifically sized syringe/needle combination. In a further embodiment, the receiving neck is constructed as a modular unit to allow for interchangeable necks to accommodate different needle and syringe sizes with different cross-sectional diameters. In a yet further embodiment, the neck is constructed with stepped tapered segments of serially larger cross-sectional diameters to accommodate differently sized syringes. In a still further embodiment, the apparatus includes an accessory needle secured to the apparatus inlet.

The devices and systems include a resin for the filtering of preservatives from pharmaceutical preparations. The methods allow for a period of time of incubation of the pharmaceutical preparation in the resin that effectively removes preservatives, while at the same time maintaining the required amount or concentration of active compound in the preparation. Also provided herein are devices, systems, and methods for the controlled release of anti-inflammatory agents in an insulin infusion set.

The filter media defines an inlet portion of the body volume and an outlet portion of the body volume. The filter media permits inlet flow from the inlet portion of the body volume to the outlet portion of the body volume and captures particulate from the inlet flow. The bulb defines a bulb volume in fluid communication with the outlet portion of the body volume. The bulb is deformable to compress the bulb volume and direct back flow from the outlet portion of the body volume through the filter media and into the inlet portion of the body volume, displacing particulate captured in the filter media into the inlet portion of the body volume.

[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a portable anticancer agent container for preventing exposure and infection to the human body caused by chemical solution leakage that arises during a removal operation of a coupling connector at the time of system cleaning using a cleaning solution. [Solution] Provided is a pressurization-type drug injector having a drug exposure preventive function and having a system cleaning function, the pressurization-type drug injector comprising: a reservoir that has a chemical solution filling opening and a chemical solution discharging opening; a pressurization deformation means that undergoes pressurization and deformation by the injection of a chemical solution and that pushes out the chemical solution by a force caused by restoration of the pressurization and deformation; a flow rate control means that adjusts the flow rate of the chemical solution by resistance; a system cleaning port that includes a cleaning solution injection opening, a chemical solution filling opening, and a liquid discharging opening; and a case that contains therein said reservoir, said pressurization deformation means, and said system cleaning port. The case has openings respectively in the vicinity of the chemical solution filling opening, the system cleaning injection opening, and the chemical solution discharging opening.
