Subsea technology
A system for tethering a subsea blowout preventer (BOP) or well head is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the system comprises an interface associable with the BOP, and more than one anchors disposed about the BOP. Each anchor is configured to carry or support a tensioning system arranged in operable association with a respective tether. Each tether is arranged so as to link a respective anchor with a respective operable means associated with the BOP. Furthermore, each of the respective operable means are configured in operable association with the interface such that tension in the tethers can be adjustable either individually or together as a group of two or more tethers, by way of the interface.

A Subsea Deployable Installation and Workover Control System Skid and Method of Installation Thereof
The invention relates to a subsea deployable installation and workover control system (IWOCS) skid (1) for connection to a subsea component (2), the skid (1) comprising: a wireless communication unit (3) for communication with a wireless communication unit (4) at a topside installation (10); a control system (69) for data storage and/or data filtering and transferring the filtered data to the wireless communication unit (3) and receiving data from the wireless communication unit (3); a self-contained fluid system comprising a fluid supply tank (5, 8), the fluid system being configured to be connected to a fluid connection on the subsea component such as to provide fluid to the subsea component (2); an electric power source (7) for supplying electric power to the communication unit (3) and the control system (69). It is further described a method of performing installation or workover operation(s) on a subsea component using an installation workover control system (IWOCS) skid.
BARRIER ARRANGEMENT IN WELLHEAD ASSEMBLY
A subsea wellhead assembly having an arrangement of primary well barriers provided in equipment that is located within the well and/or the wellhead housing is provided. The subsea wellhead assembly may include a tubing hanger positioned in or below a wellhead housing coupled to a subsea well, a tree cap fluidly coupled to the tubing hanger and disposed atop the wellhead housing, and a pair of master production valves configured to be selectively actuated from an open position to a closed position to shut in the subsea well, each of the pair of master production valves located within or below the wellhead housing.
Flow induced vibration reduction
A method and apparatus are disclosed for reducing flow induced vibration in at least one subsea structure. The method comprises the steps of, via at least one subsea acoustic sensor (190), detecting at least one characteristic associated with acoustic energy in sea water proximate to the sensor (190), responsive to the detected characteristic, varying at least one operational parameter of a fluid flowing along a fluid flow pathway associated with a pipe member (160).
