VIAL GEOMETRIES FOR OPTIMAL MIXING
A vial assembly includes a vial and a needle with at least one port. The vial includes a particulate material, a septum, a neck region including a first width, and a particulate region including a second width greater than the first width. The vial assembly is configured to move to a locked position. The needle may be configured to puncture the septum with the at least one port configured to be in the neck region when in the locked position. The at least one port may be configured to inject a fluid into the vial assembly to mix with the particulate material upon actuation of a vial engagement mechanism in a first direction and to receive a resulting mixed fluid from the vial assembly upon actuation of the vial engagement mechanism in a second direction opposite the first direction.
Compositions, devices and kits for selective internal radiation therapy
Systems, kits and methods for preparing an injection system and/or treating target lesions with a selective internal radiation therapy which includes a double-barrel syringe loaded with a two-component tissue glue and radioisotope loaded microspheres. The microspheres are loaded into the syringe based on the size of the target location and are administered with a needle or dual-lumen catheter. Dosing regimens for treating breast cancer lesions or surgical beds up to 130 mm in diameter and hepatocellular carcinoma lesions up to 50 mm are included.
Syringe shield assembly for housing and transporting a syringe containing radioactive drug
Syringe shield (2) includes a barrel housing (4), which includes: a barrel housing (6) with a radiation-shielding material, a first open end (8), and a second open end (10); and a removable cover (12) which is slidably connectable to the barrel housing (6). The removable cover (12) includes an end cap (14) which covers the second open end (10) when the removable cover (12) is slidably connected to the barrel housing (6). The barrel housing (4) also includes a plunger housing (16) with a radiation-shielding material. A first end (18) of the plunger housing (16) is open and is connectable to the first open end (8) of the barrel housing (4), and a second end (20) of the plunger housing (16) includes a top cap (22).
SYRINGE SHIELD, SYRINGE SHIPPING AND ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM, AND COMPONENTS THEREFOR
A shield for a syringe containing biohazardous material includes an elongate body comprising a compartment extending longitudinally therethrough from a body cold end to a body hot end, the compartment dimensioned to receive a syringe barrel; a cold end cover dimensioned to receive and enclose a syringe plunger extending beyond the body cold end, the cold end cover attachable at the body cold end for enclosing the compartment and the syringe plunger at the body cold end thereby to shieldingly contain the biohazardous material in the syringe at the body cold end; and a hot end cover attachable at the body hot end for at least enclosing the compartment at the body hot end thereby to shieldingly contain the biohazardous material in the syringe at the body hot end.

MODULAR RADIO-LABELING TRACER SYNTHESIZER
A modular radio-labeling tracer synthesizer system comprising a housing having a plurality of slots containing syringe actuators. Each syringe actuator including a syringe holder, a syringe driver for driving a syringe plunger in a loading and/or dispensing direction. The unit is capable of adopting multiple configurations and is fully programmable and provides enhanced flexibility in development of novel radiotracers.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES
In one aspect, a connector assembly includes a delivery conduit defining a conduit lumen and a securable connector configured to secure the delivery conduit to a medical device hub defining a medical device hub lumen. The conduit lumen includes a constant diameter region along a portion of the delivery conduit and a transition region extending from the delivery conduit to the distal end. A transition region diameter of the transition region gradually increases from the constant diameter region to a distal end of the delivery conduit. The securable connector is coupled to an outer surface of the delivery conduit and is slidable along a portion thereof. The securable connector is configured to receive the medical device hub. The securable connector is secured relative to the delivery conduit so as to fluidically couple the conduit lumen with the medical device hub lumen.
SHIELDED SYRINGE HOLDING DEVICE FOR FILLING A SYRINGE WITH A RADIOACTIVE SOLUTION
Syringe shield for using a syringe that includes a barrel, a tip and a plunger when manipulating a radioactive solution. The syringe shield includes: a shield body in which the syringe is insertable, the shield body having a window; a first flange at a first open end of the syringe shield; a second flange at a second open end of the syringe shield; wherein the second flange, the shield body, and the window include radiation shielding material, and wherein the tip of the syringe is accessible by the second open end of the syringe shield and the plunger extends outside the first open end when the syringe is inserted in the syringe shield.
