A downhole liner delivery tool includes a housing with a flow path; a detachable nose assembly coupled to the housing and fluidly coupled to the flow path and including one or more retractable grips; a flexible wellbore liner including a first end coupled to the detachable nose assembly and a second end coupled within the housing and stored within the flow path of the housing; a seat formed in the flow path and configured to receive a member dropped in a wellbore to increase a fluid pressure of a fluid resin pumped through the flow path to anchor the one or more retractable grips to a wellbore wall and detach the detachable nose assembly from the housing, the fluid resin further pumped through the flow path to deploy the flexible wellbore liner from the housing and seal the flexible wellbore liner against the wellbore wall.

Method for sealing of a borehole liner in an artesian well
09797227 · 2017-10-24 ·

A method for sealing a flexible liner that has been emplaced in a borehole manifesting artesian water flow. The upper end of the liner is closed with a plug, and a mud tube is extended from the plug down to a small volume of mud at the bottom end of the liner. The pressure in the liner interior is increased according to the weight of the mud column in the mud tube. Pressure in the liner interior can be regulated by allowing mud to move up and down in the mud tube, and by adding or withdrawing water from the closed liner interior.

SYSTEM AND METHODOLOGY FOR COUPLING TUBING
20170335673 · 2017-11-23 ·

A technique facilitates joining of sections of tubing and related monitoring. An expandable tubular member may be coupled with an external tubing, e.g. a casing. The expandable tubular member is deployed into the external tubing to a desired position. Then, an expandable portion of the expandable tubular member may be plastically deformed in a radially outward direction and into engagement with the external tubing. A sensor system may be combined with the expandable tubular member to monitor a characteristic of the expandable tubular member.

Combined casing system and method

The invention relates to a method for drilling and casing a wellbore using a drilling rig having a predetermined load capacity, using a casing scheme comprising two or more casing strings, and at least one combined casing string, which includes a first one of the casing strings fitting within a second casing string. The weight of the at least one combined casing string may exceed the load capacity of the drilling rig, and the weight of each of the parts of the at least one combined casing string is less than the load capacity.
