The method also includes introducing a first substance into a distal end of the body interior. The method further includes disposing a distal stopper member in the body interior, the distal stopper member and the injection system body defining proximal and distal chambers in the body interior. Moreover, the method includes introducing a second substance into the body interior. In addition, the method includes disposing a proximal stopper member in the body interior. The method also includes inserting an elongate member at least partially into the body interior, the elongate member having a plurality of flow channels for fluidly coupling the proximal and distal chambers. The method further includes coupling a plunger member to the proximal stopper member.
Double barreled injector assembly
A double barreled injector assembly for performing multiple sequential vaccinations includes a pair of barrels, each of which is engaged by a first terminus thereof to a bar and extends from a lower face thereof. A respective agent can be positioned in each barrel. Each barrel has an orifice positioned in a second terminus thereof. A pair of actuators is engaged to an upper face of the bar. Each actuator is operationally engaged to a respective barrel and can be actuated by action of a hand of a user to dispense an associated agent through the orifice of the respective barrel into an animal. The injector assembly allows the user to perform multiple sequential vaccinations with two different vaccines and will be useful in vaccination of herds or flocks of livestock, such as poultry, cattle, and the like.
AN INJECTION DEVICE FOR DELIVERING A PREDEFINED PLURALITY OF PREDETERMINED DOSE VOLUMES
The invention relates to a spring driven multi-use fixed dose injection device with an End-of-Content (EoC) mechanism. A housing structure contains a volume of a liquid drug which is expelled in a predefined number of substantially equally sized dose volumes. Each dose volume is expelled automatically with the assistance of a spring which is loaded with a force sufficient to expel the full number of the predefined plurality of predetermined and equally sized dose volumes. Each dose volume is prepared and released by moving a drive element a predetermined axial distance in the proximal direction away from an initial position, followed by a rotation of the drive element by the force of the spring back to the initial position during which rotation the drive element rotates the piston rod to move helically. The End-of-Content mechanism determines how many times the drive element can be moved proximally and comprises a longitudinal track structure associated with the piston rod which has a free length defined by a proximal stop associated with the piston rod which stop prevents the drive element from moving an additional predetermined axial distance in the proximal direction required to prepare a subsequent predetermined dose volume after the predefined plurality of predetermined and equally sized dose volumes have been selected.
Systems and Methods for Automatic Intravenous Injections
Systems and methods for automatic intravenous injection in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes a method for automatically injecting a needle into a vein. The method includes steps for identifying an injection position using a first set of one or more sensors, positioning an injection mechanism at the identified injection position, and vertically inserting a needle until entry in a vein is detected using a second set of one or more sensors.
REUSABLE INJECTION PENS
A medicine injection pen includes a rotatable drive member and a rotary encoder associated with the drive member. The rotary encoder is configured to determine an amount of liquid medicine dispensed based on a rotational orientation of the drive member.

Assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container
The present disclosure relates to an assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container. The injection device includes a body configured to receive the medical container in a fixed position relative to the body. The injection device includes a spring-loaded piston rod translationally movable inside the body along a spring axis. The injection device includes a lever pivotably mounted on the body about a first pivot axis orthogonal to the spring axis at a first distance form the spring axis. The injection device includes a selective blocking system coupled to the lever by a second pivot axis orthogonal to the spring axis. The lever is pivotable between a rest position. The selective blocking system engages the piston rod to prevent any translation movement of the piston rod and a second position wherein the selective blocking system releases the piston rod.
