Securing communication between a wireless data communication accessory for a drug delivery device and an external device
A system comprising a wireless data communication accessory and a drug delivery device is disclosed, wherein the wireless data communication accessory is configured for data exchange with the drug delivery device and to secure data from the drug delivery device using cryptographic information assigned to the drug delivery device.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a housing with a proximal end and a distal end, a medicament container arranged within the housing, a biased delivery member cover associated with the housing and movable in relation to the housing, a biased plunger rod associated with the medicament container and movable in relation to the housing, a tubular rotator associated with both the delivery member cover and the biased plunger rod, and a cap assembly associated with the housing, wherein a gap is defined between the proximal end of the biased plunger rod and the stopper of the medicament container when the medicament delivery device is in an assembled state, and wherein the proximal end of the biased plunger rod is in contact with the stopper of the medicament container when the medicament delivery device is in a calibrated state.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE AND MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE ADD-ON
A device is presented having an electronic circuit, where the device can be a medicament delivery device or a medicament delivery device add-on component that includes an electronic circuit having a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature, where the electronic circuit is configured to passively remain in a first mode when the temperature is on a first side of a set temperature and to transition to a second mode when the temperature transitions to a second side of the set temperature. In some embodiments, the electronic circuit can have one or more of a feedback portion configured to switch from a first state to a second state in response to the electronic circuit transitioning from the first mode to the second mode, a lock, and a recordal portion to record when the electronic circuit transitions from the first mode to the second mode.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADMINISTERING A CANCER DRUG
An apparatus for administering a cancer drug, comprising an optical emitter operatively arranged to emit a visible point of light onto a tissue surface to be treated, a robotic arm, operatively arrange to move a drug-delivery device, in sequence, to each of a plurality of predetermined positions within the tissue to be treated, a tactile sensor operatively arranged at the distal end of the drug-delivery device to determine vertical height movement of the robotic arm for contact of the tissue surface to be treated, a reservoir arranged to store the cancer drug, a needle, operatively arranged to be moved to each of the specific positions within the tissue, and to deliver the drug at those positions, and, a torch head for generating non-thermal plasma in proximity to an end of the needle and the area to be treated.
INJECTION PENS FOR MEDICINE ADMINISTRATION
A medicine injection pen includes a body, a drive member, a cartridge housing, and a medicine cartridge retained within the cartridge housing. The drive member is configured to move relative to the body and the medicine cartridge defines an interior volume configured to retain a liquid medicine. The drive member is configured to translate a piston within the interior volume toward a dispensing end of the medicine cartridge to dispense at least some of the liquid medicine. The medicine cartridge also includes an insertion port configured to receive a medicine dispensing element therethrough for dispensing a liquid medicine into the interior volume to replace at least some of the liquid medicine dispensed through the dispensing end. Dispensing of the liquid medicine into the interior volume of the medicine cartridge applies a fluid pressure to the piston to translate the piston away from the dispensing end of the medicine cartridge.
Drug delivery device and method of operation
A computerized electro-mechanical drug delivery device configured to deliver at least one dose of two or more medicaments. The device comprises a control unit. An electro-mechanical drive unit is operably coupled to the control unit and a primary reservoir for a first medicament and a secondary reservoir for a fluid agent, e.g. a second medicament. An operator interface is in communication with the control unit. A single dispense assembly is configured for fluid communication with the primary and the secondary reservoir. Activation of the operator panel sets a first dose from the primary reservoir and based on the first dose and a therapeutic dose profile, the control unit is configured to determine a dose or range of the fluid agent. Alternatively, the control unit determines or calculates a dose or range of a third medicament. Further, a dispense interface for use with a drug delivery device is disclosed.
