Automatic administration instrument for medical use
An automatic administration instrument includes a syringe and a partition wall in the syringe which partitions the syringe into different rooms for respectively holding plural kinds of drug solutions or a drug and a drug solution. A partition-wall driver displaces the partition wall and an injection needle is connected to the syringe. A body cap attached to the administration instrument body so as to cover the injection needle. The syringe, the partition wall, and the body cap are configured such that displacing the partition wall dissolves or mixes the drug solutions or the drug and the drug solution in a state that the injection needle is covered by the body cap.
TISSUE LIFTING DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
Various implementations include a tissue lifting device that is operable using one hand. The device includes a housing, an actuator that is slidably moveable through a channel within the housing, and a lifting mechanism adjacent a distal end of the housing. The actuator causes the lifting mechanism to lift a tissue. In some implementations, the housing includes a needle adjacent the distal end of the housing that punctures the tissue and allows for injection of a composition behind the tissue. The lifting mechanism according to some implementations is a suction-based (or aspiration) system. And, in other implementations, the lifting mechanism is a grasping system.
Injection apparatus with needle housing for desensitising skin
A needle housing having a distal end which is removably connectable to a source of injectable fluid and a proximal end for contacting a patient. The needle housing comprises (a) a hollow needle having a proximal end for insertion into body tissue of the patient, and (b) a chamber having an open proximal end, the chamber surrounding at least part of the needle and extending proximally beyond the proximal end of the needle to the open proximal end. The open proximal end of the chamber is deformable and moveable relative to the needle from a position in which the chamber extends proximally beyond the proximal end of the needle to a position in which the proximal end of the needle extends proximally through the open proximal end of the chamber.
MEDICAL DEVICE TO DISINFECT A SKIN SURFACE
A medical device and method configured to disinfect a skin surface, the device comprising a power source that provides electric power, a light emitting source that uses electric power received from the power source to disinfect the skin surface, and a switch that is configured to be operated by user action, wherein upon activation of the switch, the electric power from the power source is received by the light emitting source to emit visible light and disinfect the skin surface.

Injection devices
The invention relates to an injection device which includes a handle and a guard which together enclose a movable cartridge which can contain liquid material to be injected, and further enclose a movable injector that includes a needle, the needle being attached to a housing where the housing is attached to the cartridge, the device also including a delivery mechanism whereby the needle is moved from a retracted to an extended position, and independently the volume of the chamber may be adjusted to expel the contents thereof through the needle and into a subject in need thereof. The injection device may be communicatively connected to a control unit so as to provide a dermal injection system.

Free-jet dosing system for applying a fluid into or under the skin
A free-jet dosing system for administering a fluid into or under the skin having a micropump and a nozzle arranged on the outlet side. The micropump has an inlet and an outlet and is configured to transport a fluid from the inlet to the outlet and to generate a blocking pressure of at least 20 bar at the outlet. The nozzle is configured to output the fluid output at the outlet as a free jet at a fluid pressure so that the fluid of the free jet may be injected into the skin.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING AN ANESTHETIC AND BACTERICIDE
A method and an apparatus for applying an anesthetic that includes a receptacle having an upper end, a substantially hollow interior, a lower end having a tube or nozzle extending therefrom, and an attachment for attaching to the barrel of a syringe or vice versa. The receptacle receives a container or canister containing an endothermic gas or vapor (propellant) that rapidly absorbs heat when released to the atmosphere. A depressible actuating member or trigger propels the gas or vapor through an outlet nozzle that is oriented to project a stream of gas or vapor along a delivery axis that intersects a delivery axis of the needle, therefore, the gas or vapor can be successively delivered to an injection site with minimal repositioning of the housing.
