PUNCTURE-ASSISTANCE TOOL, PUNCTURE DEVICE, AND PUNCTURE METHOD
The present invention has an object to cause no pain to a living body and prevent a needle from being buckled. A puncture assisting tool (10) includes: a frame 11 that is attached to skin (S); and a guide part (12) that is located inside a region of the frame (11) in which region the frame (11) is attached to the skin, the guide part (12) being provided with a through-hole (12a) through which a needle passes and guiding movement of the needle.
Medicine injecting tip, hand piece, and skin treating device
Provided are a medicine injecting tip, which injects a medicine into a hole in a skin formed by a needle while invading the needle to a preset depth of a deep portion of the skin, a hand piece equipped with the medicine injecting tip, and a skin treatment device using the medicine injecting tip. The medicine injecting tip includes a cylinder, a plunger that reciprocates downward and upward, and has a first space and a second space formed inside the cylinder, and a needle disposed in the plunger and disposed in the second space of the cylinder. The needle is inserted into a skin and a negative pressure state is formed in the second space when the plunger moves downward, and the needle is discharged from the skin and a positive pressure state is formed in the second space, when the plunger moves upward.
Cuff device for accessing patient blood vessels
The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to a device that can be used as a tourniquet cuff for effective blood draws and IV insertion. The disclosed device assists skilled medical professionals in locating a vessel and inserting an intravenous tube, catheter, and/or blood drawing needle therein. Particularly, the device includes a cuff that wraps around at least a portion of a patient limb (e.g., an arm). The cuff is secured on the patient's limb with a plurality of straps that are tightened and secured about the circumference of the cuff. When the device is configured on the limb of a patient, the patient's blood vessels immediately engorge with blood. In this way, the vessels can be clearly visualized by or felt by a medical professional. As a result, blood can easily and efficiently be drawn and/or an IV successfully inserted without multiple attempts at finding the vessel.
NEEDLE ASSISTED JET INJECTION ADMINISTRATION OF TESTOSTERONE COMPOSITIONS
The present invention provides compositions and methods for treating a subject in need of treatment with testosterone, including introducing testosterone into the subject subcutaneously, intradermally, or intramuscularly, from a needle assisted jet injection device.
IMPLANT PLACEMENT AND REMOVAL SYSTEMS
Devices, methods, and systems are provided for placing an implant into a patient and removing it therefrom.
Hollow microneedle arrays
The present disclosure relates to apparatus, assemblies, combinations, and methods for infusing fluids by hollow microneedles.
Device for removing an item implanted underneath the skin
A tool for use in fixing the position of an implanted item beneath skin, comprises: a main body, a channel in the main body, the channel defining at least two gripping interfaces for engagement with the skin and around the implanted item, wherein the interfaces are positioned such that, when engaged with the skin, the interfaces retain the implanted item in a known position relative to the engaged skin. Methods of using the tool are also described.
Auto-injector device
An auto-injector device comprising an injector body having a proximal end and a distal end; a syringe received in the injector body; a needle disposed in a first end of the syringe to extend toward an opening in the distal end of the injector body; and a sealing element disposed at the distal end of the injector body for making a seal against a patient's skin. The auto-injector is configured to generate a reduced pressure to draw the auto-injector device against the patient's skin. The auto-injector device comprises a pressure-reducing mechanism configured to generate the reduced pressure within the injector body during an injection process. The pressure reducing mechanism comprises a moveable member configured such that movement of the moveable member from a first position to a second position enlarges a closed volume within the injector body to generate the reduced pressure within the closed volume.
HYBRID DRUG DELIVERY DEVICES WITH OPTIONAL GRIP PORTION AND RELATED METHOD OF PREPARATION
Drug delivery devices are described that provide hybrid forms with optional gripping functionalities. For example, the devices can include a grip portion on a skin contact surface with a release liner disposed thereon. A user can operate the devices with the release liner disposed on the grip portion or can remove the release liner so that the grip portion is able to aid users in orienting and supporting the device during an injection operation.
TRANSDERMAL DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A transdermal drug delivery device is disclosed that may comprise a housing including an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion. The lower housing portion may define a bottom surface including skin attachment means for releasably attaching the lower housing portion to skin of a user. The upper housing portion may at least partially surround a central region of the device. The device may also include a microneedle assembly and a reservoir disposed within the central region. The reservoir may be in fluid communication with the microneedle assembly. Additionally, the device may include a pushing element disposed above the microneedle assembly within the central region. The pushing element may be configured to provide a continuous bilateral force having a downward component transmitted through the microneedle assembly and an upward component transmitted through the skin attachment means.
