TEMPERATURE-CONTROL DEVICE AND TEMPERATURE-CONTROL METHOD
A device for controlling the temperature of and thawing a temperature-controlled product, with a housing containing the temperature-controlled product, a heating module for introducing heat at least at one side of the temperature-controlled product and an actuating member, using which movement can be introduced into the temperature-controlled product. The actuating member is designed as a mechanical actuating element which extends along and ideally makes direct contact with the temperature-controlled product, and which can be controlled such that it executes a periodic and/or non-periodic movement.
System and Method for Syringe Fluid Fill Verification and Image Recognition of Power Injector System Features
A fluid injection system and a fluid verification system for confirming that a syringe, containing a fluid for injection, is fully filled with fluid and neither has free space (i.e., air) near the distal end thereof when the syringe is provided in an upright position nor contains air bubbles. Imaging processing techniques and systems are also provided to determine various injection parameters and to verify the type and certain properties of fluid that is present within a syringe.
METHODS, KITS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR NOVEL AGAROSE-BASED DERMAL FILLER WITH ENHANCED RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES PROVIDING SAFETY FEATURES
Disclosed herein are safe and effective ways to perform dermal filling procedures. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to agarose-based dermal fillers with advanced rheological properties which are easier to inject and disperse compared to HA based dermal fillers. The present disclosure further relates to the methods and kits to provide additional safety advantages over other injectables, as the agarose-based dermal fillers can be dispersed quickly to prevent injury to a patient.
APPARATUS FOR INJECTING INFUSION SOLUTION
An apparatus for injecting an infusion solution is provided, and the apparatus includes a housing including a receiving part to receive an infusion solution bag in the receiving part and an infusion solution tube connected with the infusion solution bag and withdrawn, and a pressing member received in the receiving part to self-inflate as air is supplied and to press the infusion solution bag.
INFUSION OF DRUGS
The present invention relates to a method of replenishing a system for injecting a substance into the patient's body, when the system is implanted in the patient's body. The method involves replenishing the implanted reservoir by a replenishing needle penetrating the patient's skin and injecting infusion liquid comprising the substance through the replenishing needle directly or indirectly into the reservoir.
THERMAL TREATMENT OF SURGICAL FLUIDS
A surgical fluid thermal treatment system can be used during a procedure to heat or cool surgical fluid, e.g., prior to introducing the fluid into the body of a patient. In some examples, the system includes an open basin into which fresh surgical fluid is dispensed and a heater that heats the fluid in the basin. The system may also include a volume measurement device that measures the volume of fluid in the basin. The system may have a user interface that a user interacts with to check fresh fluid into the basin. The user may also interact with the user interface to check medical tools into the basin and check medical tools out of the basin. A controller associated with the system can track the volume of fluid removed from the basin during the course of a procedure.
Medical weighing systems
A weighing system for medical applications may include a basin that has a base and a sloped sidewall that collectively form a bounded cavity with open top surface that receives and holds the material to be weighed. The basin may be free floating above the weighing device within a restricted range of travel. In some examples, the weighing system includes a thermal treatment device to adjust the temperature of the material in the basin. The rate at which heat is delivered to the basin may vary depending on the weight of the contents in the basin.
INTRA-CAVITY CIRCULATION HEAT PERFUSION APPARATUS
An intra-cavity circulation heat perfusion apparatus, comprising a casing, an electromagnetic induction heating means, and a controller. The electromagnetic induction heating means comprises a tray and an electromagnetic induction coil; the tray is used for bearing a heating tank; a master control unit of the controller controls the electromagnetic induction coil to be electrified to heat the heating tank, so as to indirectly heat a medicinal liquid in a liquid storage chamber; a data acquisition unit is used for acquiring medicinal liquid temperature values of the heating tank, a liquid outlet pipeline, and a liquid return pipeline and transferring same to the master control unit; the master control unit controls a power control unit according to the medicinal liquid temperature values to control a heating power of the electromagnetic induction coil.
