A two-component reactive dispensing system that is pliable is comprised of an outer sausage tubular member having therein an inner sausage tubular member in which the inner tubular member is bonded to the inner surface of the outer sausage tubular member longitudinally along a portion of the outer surface of the inner tubular sausage member. The compartments formed by the inner and outer tubular sausage members are filled with materials that are reactive with each other and the ends are sealed by gathering the ends and sealed using, for example wire wrap around clips.

This invention discloses an underground rock anchoring system comprising a rock bolt having a bolt shaft operatively locatable in an elongate rectilinear hole drilled into a hanging wall such that an end portion of the bolt shaft protrudes from the hole, the bolt shaft having a side wall defining a hollow internal chamber extending along at least part of the length of the bolt shaft, a bearing plate adapted to be fitted over the protruding end portion of the bolt shaft for bearing against a rock surface of the hanging wall; and fastening means for pulling the bearing plate taut against the rock surface of the hanging wall. The invention also extends to a rock anchoring method in which such system is used.

A drilling and bolting rig includes a carousel rotatable about a carousel axis and including a plurality of stations configured to support a plurality of consumables, one or more actuators, and a position sensor coupled to the carousel. The one or more actuators are configured to rotate the carousel about the carousel axis. The drilling and bolting rig further includes an electronic processor coupled to the one or more actuators and the position sensor. The electronic processor is configured to detect, using the position sensor, a rotational position of the carousel, and rotate, using the one or more actuators, the carousel based on the rotational position of the carousel.

The disclosure relates to a hollow rod composite anchor for stabilizing rock strata in mining, tunnel construction, underground construction, and rock construction, at least having an anchor base with one or more outlet channels, a hollow rod which is arranged behind the anchor base and contains a static mixing device and an adhesive cartridge with a press-out piston, said adhesive cartridge being arranged on the static mixing device via a cylindrical seal device with at least one bursting surface, wherein the outer diameter of the seal device substantially corresponds to the inner diameter of the hollow rod, the area of the bursting surface is greater than or equal to 15% and less than or equal to 90% of the cylinder cross-section of the seal device, and the ratio of the area of the bursting surface to the area of the hollow rod wall cross-section is greater than or equal to 0.1 and less than or equal to 25. The disclosure additionally relates to an improved method for setting hollow rod composite anchors.

An injection system for a self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1), the system including: a receptacle (2) to be fixed in use to a drill head (4) of the self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1), the receptacle (2) having a nozzle receiving end (5) and an opening (6) at the other; a replaceable canister (7) to be located within said receptacle (2) in use, said canister (7) adapted to supply two or more substances for use in installing the rock bolt assembly (1) through said nozzle receiving end (5); and a plunger system (8) operatively associated with said receptacle (2) adjacent said opening (6) at said other end and positioned along a longitudinal axis (XX) of the drill head (4); the plunger system (8) including two or more plungers (9) that are activated in use to drive the substances within the canister (7) when located within the receptacle (2), delivering the substances by way of a nozzle (21) mounted to the nozzle receiving end (5) into the self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1).
