DEVICE FOR OCULAR ACCESS
The present invention provides devices to access the suprachoroidal space or sub-retinal space in an eye via a minimally invasive transconjunctival approach. The devices may also be used after a partial dissection, for example after dissection of the outer scleral layer of the eye, and using the device within the dissection to access the suprachoroidal space or the sub-retinal space.
SYRINGE WITH VISUAL INDICATOR AND RETAINING ELEMENTS
The invention relates to a syringe with a visual indicator and retaining elements, which is used in the application of epidural anaesthesia. The syringe has the particularity of comprising a visual indicator located at the front end of a plunger that drives the fluid contained in the barrel, which visual indicator is an element in the form of a bellows comprising two discs with a membrane between the two discs, wherein the membrane can be deformed according to the pressure in the syringe. The syringe also comprises longitudinal lateral flanges on the body of the plunger, which have a surface with a plurality of teeth, wherein the plunger is rotatable relative to its axial axis, and wherein the teeth allow the plunger to be secured.
INJECTION TRAINING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
An injection training device is configured to simulate the tactile sensations and forces associated with the operation of a corresponding injection device. However, the injection training device does not carry the medication or a needle. The injection training device includes a plunger that is depressed to drive a rotor to rotate. A viscous fluid resists rotation of the rotor, which thereby resists depression of the plunger.
Device and method for identification of a target region
A method and apparatus are provided for use in locating a target region which is situated in the body of a subject, for example for the delivery of drugs. The system includes an assembly for controlling the flow of fluid from a fluid reservoir to a conduit, such as a needle. A sensor detects a characteristic indicative of the fluid pressure in the conduit. The system processes data from the sensor to detect the presence of a pulsatile waveform. A controller may control further operation of the system based on information regarding the presence of the pulsatile waveform and features of the waveform, such as amplitude.
APPARATUS AND FORMULATIONS FOR SUPRACHOROIDAL DRUG DELIVERY
Drug formulations, devices and methods are provided to deliver biologically active substances to the eye. The formulations are delivered into scleral tissues adjacent to or into the suprachoroidal space without damage to the underlying choroid. One class of formulations is provided wherein the formulation is localized in the suprachoroidal space near the region into which it is administered. Another class of formulations is provided wherein the formulation can migrate to another region of the suprachoroidal space, thus allowing an injection in the anterior region of the eye in order to treat the posterior region.

MODULAR POWER AND CONNECTIVITY SYSTEM FOR INFUSION DEVICES
A modular power and connectivity assembly and system are provided. The modular power and connectivity assembly includes a housing, a power assembly and a communication assembly. The modular power and connectivity assembly is reusable and provides power and communications to a removably coupled infusion device. The system includes multiple modular power and connectivity assemblies, a charging station for recharging the modular power and connectivity assemblies, a connectivity hub for communicating with the modular power and connectivity assemblies, and a cloud interface to a healthcare system for sending and receiving information to and from the modular power and connectivity assemblies. A method of operating a modular power and connectivity system is also provided.
Pressure Sensor for Injection Devices
The present application relates to pressure sensors for injection devices. According to a first aspect, the specification discloses an injection device comprising: a medicament container comprising medicament container walls and a sealing element; a stopper translatably disposed inside the medicament container; a pressure sensor; and a plunger passing through an axial bore of the sealing element, the plunger being operable to displace the stopper, wherein the sealing element, stopper and medicament container walls define a cavity inside the medicament container; and wherein the pressure sensor is configured to measure the pressure inside the cavity during an injection.
A Touch Sensor of a Drug Delivery Device or of a Drug Delivery Add-On Device
A touch sensor of a drug delivery device or of a drug delivery add-on device including a rigid element, a touch element arranged in relation to the rigid element such that a gap between at least a part of the rigid element and a flexible part of the touch element is provided, at least one pressure sensitive element arranged between the rigid element and the flexible part of the touch element in the gap such that a pressure applied to the flexible part of the touch element deforms the flexible part to reduce the gap and transmit the applied pressure to the pressure sensitive element, wherein the at least one pressure sensitive element is configured to generate an output signal upon detecting the pressure applied to the pressure sensitive element, the generated output signal being provided for signaling that the flexible part of the touch element has been touched.
