Irrigation system with mechanical fluid pressure control
An irrigation system for anal or stomal irrigation includes a tubing system attachable between a reservoir and a catheter. The tubing system has a proximal portion attachable to the reservoir and a distal portion including a distal end that is attachable to the catheter, with the tubing system providing an irrigation flow path from the proximal portion attachable to the reservoir through the distal end attachable to the catheter. A pump is operable to move the liquid through the irrigation flow path to provide the anal or stomal irrigation out of the catheter. A pressure control device is attachable to the distal portion of the tubing system and communicates with the catheter. The pressure control device has a valve that is adapted to limit an irrigation pressure for the anal or stomal irrigation out of the catheter to a value less than a pre-determined pressure threshold.
LIQUID MEDICINE ADMINISTRATION DEVICE
A liquid medicine administration device configured to prevent leakage of liquid medicine when a blockage occurs in a delivery path of the medicine includes: a liquid medicine container having an opening at a tip end through which liquid medicine can be discharged; a gasket slidable in the container for expelling the liquid medicine; a plunger to press the gasket; a housing; a drive mechanism that advances the plunger toward the container tip; and a rotation restriction unit that restricts rotation of the plunger with respect to the housing. The drive mechanism includes: a motor a feed screw rotatable in response to motor rotation; and a transmission unit that transmits drive torque from the motor to the feed screw. The transmission unit includes a canceling unit that cancels transmission of drive torque from the motor to the feed screw, when receiving torque equal to or greater than a preset cancellation torque.
BOTULINUM TOXIN PREFILLED SYRINGE SYSTEM
The present invention relates a botulinum toxin prefilled syringe system with desirable injection force characteristics, in particular low gliding force and low break loose force, comprising a syringe barrel of glass containing a liquid botulinum toxin composition, a plunger stopper and a closure device such as a tip cap or a needle shield. In addition, the present invention relates to a kit comprising the botulinum toxin prefilled syringe system, and optionally instructions for use, and to the use of the botulinum toxin prefilled syringe system in therapeutic and cosmetic applications.
Apparatus and kits for fluid infusion
An infusion device includes a housing with an interior chamber sized and configured to hold at least a flange and plunger of a syringe, a trigger held by the housing, and a lever in communication with the trigger and including an upwardly extending cam with a cam path having an upper end. The cam is in communication with the flange of the syringe. In response to actuation of the trigger to dispense fluid from the syringe, the upper end of the cam travels upward above the syringe and longitudinally toward a dispensing end of the syringe to linearly translate the plunger of the syringe in a first direction to dispense fluid from the syringe. To refill fluid into the syringe, the upper end of the cam travels downward and longitudinally away from the dispensing end of the syringe to linearly translate the plunger in a second direction to intake fluid.
PEN-LIKE SYRINGE SYSTEM
A pen-like syringe system includes: a syringe holder for receiving a syringe having a syringe barrel and a plunger guided for movement in the barrel; and a drive housing connected to the syringe holder. To provide an ergonomic syringe system which allows advantageous operation of the system and guarantees safe and focused injection or drawing of a substance the drive housing includes an electric delivery device operated by an integrated power supply for applying pneumatic pressure or negative pressure to the plunger, with the delivery device connected via a drive channel to the plunger and actuatable by a button arranged on the syringe system; and the pen-like syringe system has a vent duct with a first end, which is connected to the drive channel, and a second end, which is connected to the surroundings via an opening, with the opening closable by pressing the button.
CONNECTOR ADAPTED TO ATTACH AN IRRIGATION CATHETER TO TUBING OF AN ANAL OR STOMAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM
A connector is disclosed that attaches an irrigation catheter to tubing of an anal or stomal irrigation system. The connector has a housing, a pressure control device retained within the housing, and a restriction element. The pressure control device has an inlet channel on a distal side of the pressure control device communicating along an irrigation flow path with an outlet channel on a proximal side of the pressure control device, and a secondary outlet located between the inlet channel and the outlet channel and in communication with the irrigation flow path. The restriction element is inserted into the secondary outlet.
Adjustable Medium Diverter
A system for delivering an amount of fluid medium includes an injector, a delivery catheter and a pulsatile generator. The injector is configured for injecting the fluid medium during an injection cycle. The delivery catheter includes a conduit for delivering the fluid medium. The pulsatile generator is configured to apply a pulsatile force on the fluid medium delivered through the delivery catheter at a pulsation frequency. The pulsatile force is defined by a plurality of duty cycles during the injection cycle, each of the plurality of duty cycles including a first flow level and a second flow level that is lower than the first flow level. The pulsation frequency is 3 or more duty cycles per second.

Exemplary embodiments provide methods for assembling wearable automatic injection devices for subcutaneously injecting a therapeutic agent into a patient's body at controlled rates. Exemplary embodiments provide methods for using wearable automatic injection devices for subcutaneously injecting a therapeutic agent into a patient's body at controlled rates.
RESERVOIR FOR COLLECTION AND REUSE OF DIVERTED MEDIUM
A system allows for collection and re-use of a fluid medium derived from diverting at least some of the fluid medium of an injection. The system comprises a sterile container, an injector, a delivery catheter, a flow diverter assembly and a diversion reservoir assembly. The delivery catheter is in communication with a selected site within a patient's body. The flow diverter assembly is disposed in a flow path between the injector and the delivery catheter and is configured to divert at least a portion of a medium of the injection from the flow path. The diversion reservoir assembly has a reservoir chamber fluidly coupled to the flow diverter assembly. The reservoir chamber is configured to receive the diverted portion of the fluid medium to allow re-use by the medium injector of the diverted portion.
