The syringe dispenser includes a syringe and a plunger. The plunger includes a first shaft member including a piston and second shaft member configured to be fitted in a tubular portion of the first shaft member. The first shaft member includes an elastic piece, the elastic piece being provided with a slide projection configured to slide on an inner surface of the syringe and a lock projection configured to be locked against the syringe. The second shaft member includes a pressing shaft configured to be fitted in the tubular portion. The pressing shaft is provided in a front end thereof with an end surface configured to press a free end of the elastic piece. In response to pressing from the end surface, the lock projection is locked against the rear end of the syringe, and in response to the pressing being released, the locking of the lock projection is released.

Retractable needle syringe with unitary propellant release module

A modular retractable needle assembly having a unitary propellant release structure is provided. The modular retractable needle assembly can be coupled to a suitable syringe. A modular filler needle can be provided that is engageable to the syringe. Kits comprising the modular retractable needle assembly, one or more syringes, and a modular filler needle are provided.

Disposable syringe for prevention of reuse

The present invention relates to a disposable syringe for the prevention of reuse, and more specifically to a disposable syringe for the prevention of reuse, which can restrain a plunger from moving after a medicine has been exhausted using the pressure of the plunger, thereby fundamentally preventing the syringe from being reused.

INJECTION DEVICE

Injection monitoring circuitry is provided for coupling to part of an injection device having a syringe and a plunger rod. The injection monitoring circuitry has an input to receive force measurement data from a force sensor, the force measurement data includes a plurality of timestamped force measurements of force applied by a user to the injection device when an injection is administered to an injection site. Processing circuitry is provided to determine from the force measurement data when an end of injection has been reached, the end of injection corresponding to the plunger rod having reached an end position in a distal portion of the barrel of the syringe during administration of the injection by the user. Machine readable instructions and an injection monitoring method are also provided.

INJECTION DEVICE

An injection device including a barrel having a medicament reservoir therein capable of fluid communication with a needle assembly at a distal end thereof and sealed at a proximal end thereof with a stopper. The injection device further includes a plunger rod having a distal rod end which is couplable with said stopper, wherein, when the plunger rod is coupled to the stopper, forward axial movement of the plunger rod causes forward axial movement of the stopper coupled thereto into the medicament reservoir in order to expel medicament through the needle assembly. Further, the plunger rod can be decoupled from the stopper by applying a rearward axial force on the plunger rod, said rearward axial decoupling force being less than a rearward axial force required to move the stopper rearwardly with respect to the barrel.

The invention relates to an implant injection device (1), comprising: an injection needle (3), a receiver housing (7) for receiving at least a first implant and a second implant, injection means (11), comprising: a pushing rod (37), arranged upstream from said implants housed in the receiver housing (7) and configured to push the first implant and the second implant through the injection needle (3) between an initial position and a final position in which the first implant and the second implant are injected, means (39) for pushing on the pushing rod (37), configured to exert a force tending to move the pushing rod (37) from the initial position to the final position, intermediate stop means (41) holding the pushing rod (37) in an intermediate position between the initial position and the final position, said means oppose the force exerted by the pushing means (39) when the stroke of the pushing rod (37) reaches a predetermined distance corresponding to the length of injection of the first implant, means (43) for actuation by a user, configured to release a displacement of the pushing rod (37) from the intermediate position to the final position.

METHODS OF TREATMENT USING A SYRINGE EXTRUSION ACCESSORY

A method of treatment may include providing a syringe having medicinal fluid therein for administering to a patient and coupling an attachment portion of an extrusion accessory having a handle and a pawl to a flange portion of the syringe. The pawl may have first and second ends, and be hingedly and rotatably coupled relative to the handle at a first position at the first end and at a second position between the first and second ends. The method may further include applying a force to translate the handle in a direction substantially perpendicular relative to a longitudinal axis of the syringe to cause axial movement of the second end of the pawl. The second end of the pawl may be engaged with a plunger of the syringe and axial movement of the second end of the pawl may drive the plunger forward to extrude the medicinal fluid from the syringe.
