Portable water spreader
A portable water spreader has a water tank with a coupler to couple to and be elevated and tilted by a front-end loader. Discharge pipes are coupled to the tank with spray heads. Vent pipes are coupled to the tank.
Systems and methods for spray bar control in paving machine
Systems and methods for spraying control in a paving machine comprise a screed system having an adjustable width, a position sensor configured to sense widths of the screed system, a spray bar having adjustable positions, a spray bar actuator to adjust positions of the spray bar, a spray bar sensor to sense positions of the spray bar, and a controller coupled to the position sensor, spray bar actuator and spray bar sensor that is configured to adjust the spray bar actuator depending on the sensed width. The spray bar sensor and actuator can be integrated together.
Control system for a paving machine
A paving system includes a paving machine, a controller, and a control panel. The paving machine includes a machine frame, a drive assembly, and a paving material delivery assembly, which includes a hopper, a conveyor assembly, an auger, and a screed. The paving machine also includes an emulsion fluid delivery assembly, including a tank of emulsion fluid and a spray bar including a plurality of nozzles. The controller is wired or wirelessly coupled to the tank and the spray bar to control at least one of a temperature, pressure, or delivery rate of the emulsion fluid through the nozzles.
Method and apparatus for spreading chips on roadway
A modified chip spreader is adapted to be used in a chip sealing train including a chip supply dump truck and an asphalt composition supply truck. The modified chip spreader is a self-propelled vehicle that has a receiving hopper on its front end for receiving stone chips from the chip supply dump truck, a spreader assembly on its rear end and a conveyor assembly for conveying the stone chips from the receiving hopper to the spreader assembly. The modified chip spreader also includes a spray assembly that is in fluid communication with an outlet line from the asphalt composition supply truck, which spray assembly is adapted to dispense an asphalt composition onto the surface of a roadway in front of the spreader assembly. The spreader assembly dispenses the stone chips onto the newly applied asphalt composition on the surface of the roadway.
ASPHALT DISTRIBUTOR WITH MULTISPEED MOTOR
An asphalt distributor has a multispeed hydraulic motor mechanically driving an asphalt pump. The asphalt distributor has a controller for controlling the flow rate of asphalt being sprayed. The controller has a gain for controlling the flow rate. During a transition when the speed of the multispeed hydraulic motor changes, the gain has a value for the transition. Beneficially, the asphalt distributor has a wider than conventional asphalt spraying flowrate over which it provides a consistent spray. A method for controlling the flowrate involves adjusting, preferably dynamically, the value of the gain during the transition.
Float sprayer system
A float sprayer system for efficiently dispensing a fluid from a float to treat a curing material. The float sprayer system generally includes a float for smoothing a curing material and at least one sprayer on the float; with the at least one sprayer being adapted to dispense a fluid from the float. A pump is fluidly connected to the at least one sprayer by a conduit which extends through a handle that is connected to the float. The pump is adapted to transfer the fluid from the fluid source through the conduit to be dispensed by the at least one sprayer on the float. A valve on the handle may be utilized to control flow through the conduit within the handle, and a mobile device may be utilized to control the pump.
Paving machine with an emulsion tank
A paving machine includes an engine assembly, a hopper to receive or store paving material, and a tank to store and dispense emulsion fluid. The tank is positioned between the engine assembly and the hopper.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MIXING GROW MEDIA AND ADDMIXTURES WITH A POLYMER FOR SPRAYING ONTO SURFACES FOR THE GROWING OF PLANTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER
The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention.
