ROLLING LEVERER FOR SAND BED FOR STONE PAVERS
The rolling leveler for sand bed for stone pavers is configured for use with sand. The rolling leveler for sand bed for stone pavers levels sand after the sand has been placed into a sand mold structure. The rolling leveler for sand bed for stone pavers comprises a screed structure and a rail structure. The screed structure rolls along rail structure. The rail structure elevates the screed structure above the sand contained in the sand mold structure. The elevation of the screed structure above the sand mold structure is adjustable. The screed structure rolls along the rail structure to level the sand contained in the sand mold structure.
ELECTRIC HANDHELD BROADCAST SPREADER WITH PATTERN AND SPEED CONTROLLING BAFFLED SKIRT
An electric handheld broadcast spreader with pattern and speed controlling baffled skirt detachably attaches to a conventional spreader mechanism to disperse particles in a controlled, directional manner within a proximal coverage area with two hands. A broadcasting/dispersing skirt receives particulate material from a conventional spreader. The inner volume of broadcasting/dispersing skirt comprises upper layer baffles, with upper gaps forming between each upper layer baffle; lower layer baffles, offset from the upper layer baffles, with lower gaps forming between each lower layer baffle; and multiple vertical deflector vanes disposed perpendicular to lower layer baffles. Discharged particulate material strikes the surface of the baffles, before passing through gaps. The particulate material traveling in a lateral direction strikes the deflector vanes and outlet edge of broadcasting/dispersing skirt. This controls velocity and direction of dispersed particulate material, causing particulate material to be confined within a close pattern coverage area on ground surface.
HAND-HELD SPREADER
A hand-held spreader is provided having a housing with a compartment for particulate material, a chamber below the compartment having a bottom wall with a circular aperture, an impeller mounted for rotation in the chamber along such bottom wall responsive to a hand crank, a discharge opening, and a path along which the particulate material passes into the chamber for discharge via the discharge opening. The impeller has an outer circular periphery proximal to and extending over an outer edge of the aperture to form a gap between the impeller and the bottom wall of the chamber that seals the gap from the particulate material larger than the gap from entering under the impeller and risking obstruction of impeller rotation. Any particulate material that enters the gap passes downward through the aperture to enable self-cleaning of particulate material that would otherwise collect under the impeller in the chamber.
POWERED HAND-HELD SPREADER
A powered hand-held spreader device is disclosed that has a handle that allows a user to grip and hold the device with one hand. The spreader includes an adjustable shutter, controlled by a rotary dial, to allow for distribution of a range of different granular products that require different flow rates for distribution. The granular product is contained in a hopper. The product can be distributed over various types of terrain, including, but not limited to, lawns, gardens, and paths. The spreader is driven by an electric motor actuated by a trigger. A spinning rotor plate distributes the granular product fed from the hopper. A trigger lock is optionally available to lock the trigger in the on position during use and to prevent actuation when the trigger is in the off position. An adjustable side deflector optionally can be used to control the distribution pattern of the granular product.
