COMPACTION ROLLER
A compaction roller comprising: a first roller rotating about a first axis; a second roller rotating about a second axis; a drive unit that supplies a driving force to at least one of the first roller and the second roller; and a storage unit that stores a battery for supplying electric power to the drive unit, wherein the storage unit allows the battery to be inserted and removed in a direction parallel to a plane passing through the first axis and the second axis.
WORK MACHINE
A work machine that compacts a road surface by rotation of a roller, the work machine comprises: a motor that outputs a driving force for rotating the roller; a first battery and a second battery that supply electric power to the motor; and a housing that holds the motor, the first battery, and the second battery. An upper surface of the housing has: a first opening into which the first battery is insertable, and a second opening into which the second battery is insertable, and in a front view of the work machine. The first battery inserted from the first opening and the second battery inserted from the second opening are inclined in different directions with respect to a normal line of the road surface and held by the housing.
METHOD FOR BRAKING A COMPACTION MACHINE, AND COMPACTION MACHINE
A method for braking a compaction machine operated by an electric motor. A compaction machine, in particular a tandem roller, single-drum roller or waste compactor, for carrying out the method.
Remote controlled compaction machine
A compaction machine such as a vibration trench roller has a supplemental receiver such as an eye located generally centrally of the machine and within a common reception zone of another receiver on the machine. The eye can receive a signal that is blocked from impinging upon the machine's other receiver(s), preventing the machine from shutting down when it passes beneath an obstruction and negating the need for the operator to reposition himself or herself to reestablish communications with the machine. The supplemental receiver may be positioned so as to maximize the operating range of the controller while reducing or avoiding false signals that otherwise could occur due to signal reflection. This positioning may include providing shielding around the supplemental receiver that creates a geometric umbrella of reception capability that forms a protection zone beneath it. Signals transmitted from within the protection zone cannot impinge on the supplemental receiver.
Powered roller screed with adjustable handle for wet screed attachment
A cement screeding system in the form of a powered roller screed with a wet screed attachment. The wet screed attachment includes a wet screed shoe. A handle is rotationally isolated from the screed roller and is rigidly coupled to this wet screed shoe. As such, motion of this handle is transmitted to the wet screed shoe in a replicating fashion.
Hand-guided ground compacting machine
A hand-guided ground compacting machine, such as, in particular, a vibration tamper, a vibratory roller or a vibratory plate, comprising a driving engine mounted on a machine frame, a ground compaction device driven by the driving engine, and a guide bar. Features of the present invention reside in that the driving engine is a liquid gas powered driving engine and that the ground compacting machine comprises at least one storage container for liquid gas which is replaceably disposed in a storage container holding means on the hand-guided ground compacting machine.
