VIBRATING PLATE WITH HOOD OPTIMIZED FOR NOISE REDUCTION
The invention relates to a vibrating plate for ground compaction, comprising a drive motor, an exciter unit which is driven by the drive motor and by means of which a base plate can be set in vibration, an adjustably mounted hood, which can be adjusted between an operating position at least partially covering the drive motor and a maintenance position at least partially exposing the drive motor, an exhaust air guiding device leading from the drive motor to an exhaust air opening in the hood for the cooling air of the drive motor, the exhaust air guiding device being formed in two parts and comprising an exhaust air adapter on the drive motor side and an exhaust air guide on the hood side, the exhaust air adapter and the exhaust air guide together forming a continuous exhaust air path from the drive motor to the exhaust air opening in the hood when the hood is in the operating position, the exhaust air adapter being attached to the drive motor, and the exhaust air guide being attached to the hood such that it is adjustable with the hood between the operating position and the maintenance position.
Method to provide pressed and aggregate filled concavities for improving ground stiffness and uniformity
Systems and methods to provide pressed aggregate-filled cavities for improving ground stiffness and uniformity are disclosed. According to an aspect, a method includes using a mechanism to press into a ground surface in a substantially downward direction to create a concavity. The method also includes substantially or completely filling the concavity with unstabilized or chemically stabilized aggregate, soil, or sand. Further, the method includes using the mechanism to press the aggregate within the concavity to achieve a desired ground stiffness.
Variable tamper bar amplitude for asphalt pavers
A paving machine can include a frame; a screed assembly coupled to the frame; and a tamper bar assembly located on the screed assembly, wherein the tamper bar assembly includes a connecting rod configured to have a reciprocating up and down motion; a plate connected to a lower end of the connecting rod; and a tamper bar positioned beneath the plate, wherein the tamper bar is coupled to the plate by one or more dampening members extending between the tamper bar and the plate.

COMPACTION MACHINE WITH ELECTRIC WORKING ASSEMBLY
An example compaction machine is provided that includes a compaction plate and a housing disposed on the top surface of the compaction plate. The compaction machine may also include an imbalance mass disposed within the housing and affixed to an imbalance mass shaft. The compaction machine may further include a first electric motor affixed to the housing and operably coupled to the imbalance mass shaft, and a second electric motor affixed to the housing and operably coupled to the imbalance mass shaft. The first electric motor and the second electric motor may be axially aligned along a shaft axis and affixed to the housing on opposite sides of the housing.
VIBRATING FLOAT TOOL
A vibration float tool comprising a float pad, an enclosed vibrating component affixed to the top of the float pad, a switch affixed to a battery used for activating and deactivating the enclosed vibrating component, a handle affixed to a surface of the enclosed vibrating component and the battery is used for powering the enclosed vibrating component wherein the battery attached to the handle. A method of using the vibrating float tool to level and settle a semi-liquid construction substrate, comprising activating the enclosed vibrating component with the switch, applying the float pad of the vibrating float tool across the semi-liquid construction substrate, leveling the surface of the semi-liquid construction substrate and setting the semi-liquid construction substrate.

Double-Drive Backpack Power Unit
A portable backpack-borne power unit used for concrete vibration and consolidation, that is switchable between left-handed and right-handed applications. The power unit can transmit motor-generated power to a variety of tools with various power cables known in the art. For concrete vibration, power is transmitted to a vibrator that is immersed within green concrete. The instant design enables the power connection at the power unit to be secured on either side of the backpack, effectively facilitating either left-handed or right-handed operation.

Automatic vibrator assembly usable with a concrete finishing tool
An automatic vibrator assembly includes a single vibrator mechanism or first and second vibrator mechanisms connected to first and second switch assemblies that are all housed with a case that attaches between a concrete finishing tool float and adaptor using industry standard bolt layouts. The vibrator mechanisms propel the float when the switch assemblies recognize a predetermined amount of forward and backward float tilt. Where the assembly uses two vibrator mechanisms or a single bidirectional vibrator assembly, the vibrator mechanisms can propel the float in different directions depending on the direction of tilt. Additional features include a variable speed controller, master switch for operating in automatic or manual mode, and docks that accommodate one or two removable batteries.
