A valved container assembly which has a container for containing a fluid, the container extending in an axial direction and having an open front end and a valve disposed in the container. The valved container assembly is configured so that forward axial movement of the valve relative to the container is inhibited. A plunger element is disposed axially rearward of the valve and is axially moveable in the container. The plunger element is configured to increase the pressure of a fluid in a first volume of the container upon forward axial movement relative to the valve. The valve includes a channel bypassing the permanent seal, the channel having a first opening in fluid communication with the atmosphere outside of the valved container assembly and a second opening selectively sealed from the first volume by a resilient seal.

A fluid dispenser device having a dispenser head; an air expeller; and a reservoir containing a single dose of fluid. The reservoir includes a proximal axial end and a distal axial end, and is removably mounted so that after the device has been actuated, the empty reservoir can be removed from the device and replaced by a new full reservoir. The air expeller is adapted to return to its rest position to enable a new actuation with the new full reservoir. The dispenser head includes a proximal perforator tip to perforate the proximal axial end of the reservoir. The device includes a movable perforator member that slides axially around the dispenser head between a loading position and an actuation position and includes a distal perforator tip adapted to perforate the distal axial end of the reservoir when the movable perforator member is moved into its actuation position.

Filter system for use in medical devices

A medical hand-held device, in particular an atomizer, for dispensing a liquid pharmaceutical preparation from a container with a discharge nozzle for the pharmaceutical preparation and located upstream from the discharge nozzle there is a multiple-stage filter system.

Nebulizer

A nebulizer is proposed which comprises a replaceable container containing fluid, a housing part detachable from the nebulizer for replacing the container, and an operation counter inseparable from the housing part as depicted in exemplary FIG. 10. The operation counter comprises a lead screw and an associated rider both supported by the housing part.

Disclosed is a hand piece for an aesthetic and medical device including a first body portion having a cylindrical structure in which a cartridge mounting space a second body portion bound to a lower side of the first body portion and having a cylindrical structure having an upper side on which an air pressure providing portion configured to provide air pressure to the cartridge-mounting space and the auxiliary air flow paths is mounted and a spray head portion bound to an upper body of the first body portion and having a central part on which a spray needle bound to an upper body of the cartridge to upwardly spray the liquid cosmetic product or liquid medication accommodated in the cartridge is mounted.

NASAL-SPRAY SAMPLING

A method is provided that includes intranasally dispensing nasal wash fluid (26) into a nasal cavity (22) of a subject such that the nasal wash fluid (26) washes biological material into an oropharynx (30) of the subject from (a) the nasal cavity (22), (b) a nasopharynx (32) of the subject, or (c) the nasal cavity (22) and the nasopharynx (32). Thereafter, a specimen sample (24) is collected that passed out of an anterior opening (34) of an oral cavity (36) of the subject and contains at least a portion of the biological material washed into the oropharynx (30) by the nasal wash fluid (26). Other embodiments are also described.

ENDOTHERMIC VAPOR AND ANTIMICROBIAL SKIN ANESTHETIC AND APPARATUS FOR APPLICATION
20230166052 · 2023-06-01 ·

The present device provides a method and an apparatus for applying a vaporized endothermic gas to a skin surface to provide numbing of the application site for injection with a syringe. The device includes a container or canister containing an endothermic gas that rapidly absorbs heat when released to the atmosphere. A depressible actuating member or trigger propels the gas or vapor through an outlet nozzle that is constructed to break the liquid into a vapor that can be projected as a stream of vapor along a delivery axis that intersects a delivery axis of the syringe needle; therefore, the gas or vapor can be successively delivered to an injection site with minimal repositioning of the device.

ACTIVATION MECHANISM FOR AN AEROSOL DISPENSER
20220054775 · 2022-02-24 ·

An activation mechanism for an aerosol dispenser is presented having a first housing structure, an actuation member movably arranged in the first housing structure, wherein the first housing structure is provided with an actuation member opening in level with the axial position of the actuation member, and an activation member slidably attached to the first housing structure, the activation member slides between a non-triggering position and a triggering position relative to the first housing structure, wherein the activation member has a radially flexible tab portion that is offset from the actuation member opening when the activation member is in the non-triggering position, restricting radial flexing of the tab portion, and wherein the tab portion aligns with the actuation member opening when the activation member is in the triggering position, thereby enabling the tab portion to flex radially inwards to cause movement of the actuation member.
