Devices and Methods for Delivering Fluid to a Nasal Cavity
20200390989 · 2020-12-17 ·

Devices and methods for delivering fluid from a container to the nasal cavity. The device includes a selector and a nozzle that are connected together and rotatable relative to each other. The device includes a curve to overcome anatomical barriers and one or more openings to provide for effective distribution when delivering the fluid to the nasal cavity. The selector includes an opening that aligns with a corresponding opening in a container that holds the fluid. The nozzle includes a first passage with one or more openings on a first lateral side, and a second passage with one or more openings on an opposing second lateral side. The selector and nozzle can be positioned at a first and second rotational positions to selectively deliver the fluid through the first and second passages to the nasal cavity.

A thermally modulating inhalable medicament delivery device may deliver an inhalable medicament as an aerosol, vapor, or partial aerosol and partial vapor mixture. The inhalable medicament may be delivered to a target in a subject. Described herein are devices, systems, and methods for delivering an inhalable medicament to a subject.

DEVICE FOR DOSING LIQUID
20200345953 · 2020-11-05 · ·

The invention relates to a device for dosing liquid from a liquid-receiving element (2), in which the liquid-receiving element (2) comprises an outlet valve (1), and a dosing system is available, said dosing system consisting of a first actuating wing (4) and a second actuating wing (5), which are arranged around the liquid-receiving element (2) and can be moved in relation to each other such that they compress the liquid-receiving element (2), a mechanical dosing stop being available.

Cartridge drop dispenser

A cartridge droplet dosage device with a cartridge (1) and an actuation element (2), whereby the cartridge (1) includes a reservoir body (3), a cladding (5) and a plug (6), characterized in that a fluid groove (9) projects from the reservoir body (3) into an inner tube valve area (11), whereby the fluid groove (9) is releasable either by the yielding of a sealing rib (12) and/or by the yielding of a part of the cladding (5).

Disclosed are powder spray dispensing devices for comminuted extracellular matrix powder materials, and terminally sterilized products for providing such devices, as well as related methods for manufacture and use. A powder spray dispensing device can include a squeeze pump bottle having a bottle body defining a bottle opening and an interior chamber. A dry collagenous extracellular matrix material powder is received in the interior chamber of the squeeze pump bottle, and a cap is fitted over the bottle opening. The cap has a dispensing spout fluidly communicating with the bottle opening and having a spout lumen, desirably of decreasing diameter in a direction extending away from the bottle opening. Amounts of the dry, comminuted collagenous extracellular matrix material powder are ejectable as a powder spray out of the spout opening by a pumping inward deflection of at least one wall portion of the squeeze pump bottle that causes a gas pressure impulse to travel from the interior chamber of the squeeze pump bottle through the spout lumen and out the spout opening.

A process and a metered dose inhaler, comprising: an air actuator comprising at least one inlet of liquefied gas (LG), at least one air outlet, at least one first LG-expanding volume and at least one second air-containing volume, the first and second volumes are effectively separated by means of a LG-blocking member; a container with an LG source; said container is in a fluid connection with said LG-expanding volume via the at least one LG inlet; The air actuator is facilitating a metered dose airflow by allowing the expansion of said LG in said at least one LG-expanding volume from its condensed liquid phase to its expanded gas phase. The expansion of said LG facilitates the compression of the air within said at least one air-containing volume, such that a metered dose LG-free air flow is inhalable via at least one air outlet.

INTRANASAL PRESSURE DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
20200121871 · 2020-04-23 ·

A beneficial agent dispensing device comprises a dispenser body comprising a pressure chamber and at least one dispensing port. A flexible primary container stores the beneficial agent contained within the body. The arrangement is such that pressure in the pressure chamber depress the flexible primary container to expel the beneficial agent through the dispensing port. The beneficial agent dispenser can be configured to deliver the beneficial agent intranasally.

Container for an inhaler

A container for holding, dispensing and/or storing a preferably liquid medicament preparation is proposed, which comprises an inner space for the medicament preparation and an at least partially multi-layered wall structure defining the inner space, the wall structure comprising a first layer with a first through-opening of less than 40 m. Alternatively or additionally, the wall structure comprises a second and third layer, a second through-opening being provided in the second layer and the third layer covering or closing off the wall structure.

Medical Instrument and Generation Device
