FAN FOR REGENERATIVE AIR VACUUM STREET SWEEPER, AND METHOD OF FAN MANUFACTURE AND ASSEMBLY
20220081858 · 2022-03-17 ·

A fan with airfoil blades is provided for a regenerative air vacuum street sweeper. The blades are formed using cut and pressed upper and lower panels which are welded at a forward edge to a rod to form the airfoil leading edge and welded at the rear edges to form the airfoil trailing edge. Pins extend laterally outwardly from the rod for mounting each blade in corresponding holes in the front and rear plates of the fan housing. The side edges of the blade are welded to the plates at a 9-11° angle of attack. The airfoil blades allow for reduced size, horse power, noise, and manufacturing and shipping costs.

A blowing-suction machine includes an engine, a volute, a vent assembly and a vacuum pipe. The engine is installed at an upper end of the volute; the vent assembly is installed at a front end of the volute; an output shaft of the engine in the volute is coupled to a vane; a first shaft of a self-propelled device is coupled to a lower end of the first shaft; both ends of a second shaft of the self-propelled device are coupled to a wheel self-propelled device and a rolling-sweeping-combing device respectively; and the vacuum pipe has an end coupled to the vent assembly and the other end disposed in front of a garbage deposit box. This disclosure features a simple structure and a clever design and provides the self-propelled, automatic sweeping, automatic grass combing, and garbage crushing functions to improve the blowing-suction rate significantly and provide a convenient use.

SELF-PROPELLED STREET CLEANER
20200362526 · 2020-11-19 ·

A self-propelled sweeping machine, having a chassis comprising at least one driven drive axle with wheels, for cleaning drivable, preferably solid, ground surfaces such as roads, streets, paths and cycle paths, squares or the like, consists of a refuse collection container which is built onto the chassis for receiving refuse which is lifted from the ground surface by means of generated suction air and/or suction force of a suction air unit comprising a suction air blower, by a suction device provided at the front end of a suction air line, and which is supplied via the connected, preferably rising, suction air line to the interior of the refuse collection container, wherein the refuse collection container has a screening device which is arranged spaced apart from the upper container wall for separating the refuse and, for conducting the suction air, has a downstream air outlet line for the suction air to be discharged, and wherein for the emptying process the refuse collection container is configured at the rear end so as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis arranged transversely to the forward direction of movement, and for emptying refuse the inner face of the rear wall of the refuse collection container is configured as a sliding surface which rises, respectively is inclined, to the rear, wherein the suction air unit, which is line-connected by a suction air opening to the interior of the refuse collection container, is arranged on the outer face of the rear wall of the refuse collection container configured with an internal sliding surface.

Garbage truck sweeper attachment

A sweeper attachment for a refuse collection vehicle that utilizes either a conveyor system or a vacuum system to transport debris from a road surface to a collection body of the refuse collection vehicle. The sweeper attachment allows for the same vehicle to be used for both refuse collection and sweeping roadway surfaces.

ROADWAY SWEEPER WITH MULTIPLE SWEEPING MODES

A roadway or pavement sweeper with multiple sweeping modes for the removal of debris from a swept surface may, in some embodiments, include a sweeper vehicle having a pair of side-brooms independently movable between a retracted and extended position for sweeping debris into an area therebetween and at least one material-transfer broom to sweep a portion of the debris accumulated between the side-brooms as the vehicle moves in its direction of travel. A fan-driven suction-inlet may be provided at or adjacent each side of the vehicle. The at least one material-transfer broom may rotate in a first or other direction to transfer debris for entrainment into a selected suction-inlet for transfer to a debris hopper. Other embodiments are also described.

Manure-removal device

A manure-removal vehicle and an assembly thereof having a manure-discharging location. The vehicle comprises a pump and a tank having an air discharge. The vehicle collects manure by means of a scraper and this is subsequently suctioned up via a manure extraction opening in the tank. The pump works at low power and in particular at low pressure, due to the fact that a constant stream of manure is collected in front of the opening, in particular if a sealing plate is provided.
