PLOW ASSEMBLY LINKAGE
A linkage for an implement is provided for connection to a vehicle. The linkage may be configured to allow extension of the linkage along its longitudinal axis, with a spring under tension that urges the linkage toward a primary operating position.
SWEEPING BLADE DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE BLADES
A sweeping blade assembly for attachment to a vehicle for sweeping a ground surface. The sweeping blade assembly comprises: a blade support for receiving a plurality of blades, a first row of blades and a second row of blades. Each row of blade comprising a plurality of blades which are separated from each other by a gap. The first row of blades and the second row of blades are provided beside (and parallel to) each other and positioned so that a given gap in a given row corresponds to a blade in the other row. In an embodiment, the gap is dimensioned to be smaller in width than the blades whereby a given blade in one row can have a partial overlap of two different blades in the other row. Whereby, the blades can freely move vertically and/or angularly when hitting uneven surfaces, and can be rectangular in shape, and thus reversible when the carbide on one of the edges is worn out.
Flexible snowplow cutting edge
A snow plow cutting edge, including at least one elongate backing plate removably fastened to a lower edge of a snow plow moldboard or to a cutting edge trip mechanism. The elongate backing plate has a long axis and a plurality of biasing member engaging structures. Slide bars are engaged to the elongate backing plate. The slide bars are arranged proximate one another along the long axis of the elongate backing plate and are slidable generally perpendicular to the long axis. Biasing members are engaged between the biasing member engaging structures and the slide bars such that the slide bars are biased generally perpendicular to the long axis toward a surface to be cleared of snow. Replaceable cutting edge sections are removably attached to one of the plurality of slide bars and located adjacent at least one of the other replaceable cutting edge sections.
Sweeping blade device with adjustable blades
A sweeping blade assembly for attachment to a vehicle for sweeping a ground surface. Snowplow blade assembly
A snowplow blade assembly provides a snowplow blade that attaches to a vehicle for clearing residue from a pathway. The snowplow blade is configured to minimize structural damage caused by a pathway edge barrier, or a stationary object disposed on, or along, the pathway. A break-away section of the snowplow blade hingedly pivots, and potentially detaches with respect to a remainder of the snowplow blade when a predetermined shear stress from the pathway edge barrier or stationary object is applied. The break-away section includes a wheel roller that facilitates rolling advancement of the snowplow blade along or on the pathway edge barrier. The break-away section also forms an outer edge recess on a first side-blade end of snowplow blade. The outer edge recess is sized to enable passage of stationary objects, which prevents damage to the snowplow blade or stationary objects.
Snowplow with ground contour following cutting edge and impact absorption
A cutting edge system for a snowplow is described herein. The system includes a backing plate coupled to a bottom portion of a moldboard of the snowplow and a plurality of cutting edge segments mounted to a front surface of the backing plate. Each cutting edge segment includes a blade segment slidably mounted to the front surface of the backing plate. Each blade segment has a lower portion configured to engage a ground surface, an upper portion having an uppermost edge opposed to the cutting edge, and two upwardly extending lobes spaced apart from each other to define an intermediate portion therebetween. Each cutting edge segment also includes a compression member configured to be retained in between the uppermost edge of the intermediate portion and an engaging surface of the backing plate. The compression member is configured to absorb upward movement of the blade segment when the cutting edge engages the ground surface.
Flexible snowplow cutting edge
A snow plow cutting edge, including at least one elongate backing plate removably fastened to a lower edge of a snow plow moldboard or to a cutting edge trip mechanism. The elongate backing plate has a long axis and a plurality of biasing member engaging structures. Slide bars are engaged to the elongate backing plate. The slide bars are arranged proximate one another along the long axis of the elongate backing plate and are slidable generally perpendicular to the long axis. Biasing members are engaged between the biasing member engaging structures and the slide bars such that the slide bars are biased generally perpendicular to the long axis toward a surface to be cleared of snow. Replaceable cutting edge sections are removably attached to one of the plurality of slide bars and located adjacent at least one of the other replaceable cutting edge sections.
Laterally shiftable plow
A side shift push frame assembly including a bracket arranged on a first side and configured to be attached to a vehicle, a frame configured to be attached to the bracket, a mold board support beam arranged on the frame on a side opposite to the bracket, and configured to be attached to a mold board. An actuator is configured to be attached to the mold board for moving the mold board in a lateral direction relative to the frame while the frame remains in a fixed position.
Wear pad assembly for implements of machines
A wear pad assembly for an implement of a machine is disclosed. The implement includes a forward face configured to engage and cast material sideways during a forward movement of the machine over a work surface, and a rearward face opposite the forward face. The wear pad assembly includes a first bracket, a second bracket, a wear pad, and a biasing member. The first bracket is configured to be fixedly coupled to the rearward face of the implement. The second bracket is pivotably coupled to the first bracket. The wear pad is coupled to the second bracket and is configured to contact the work surface. Further, the biasing member is engaged with the second bracket and is configured to bias the wear pad in abutment with the work surface during use of the implement.
WING PLOW APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A snow plow apparatus including at least one pivotable plow wing that is capable of removing snow or debris adjacent to a vehicle. The pivotable plow wing is operable to deploy from a stowed configuration behind the vehicle to a deployed configuration where the plow wing substantially extends beyond a side of the vehicle and is in contact with a surface to be plowed to remove snow adjacent to the footprint of the vehicle. Once deployed, the pivotable wing is configurable to direct snow or debris away from or toward the vehicle by adjusting the angle of the plow wing relative to the direction of travel of the vehicle. The snow plow apparatus includes powered actuators and an electronic control unit that coordinate to operate the snow plow apparatus without the need for an operator to manually deploy, stow, or position the snow plow apparatus.
