Plow for use with automobiles and other vehicles

A personal use plow for pushing, but not limited to, snow and slush from one's driveway by most passenger automobiles and/or ATVs that is attached using a unique strapping and cog bracing system. The plow is made of injected molded structural foam plastic and comes in five (5) separate panels that can be easily assembled into a solid plow blade. This material is lightweight and allows for easy transportation, storage and use. When assembled, the plow can be used either in the front or back of the vehicle. The plow attaches to the vehicle by a special hook, designed as part of this patent, which attaches to the hood, trunk or luggage rack of the vehicle. All parts for the functionality of the plow are contained on the plow itself, so there are no brackets or hitches required to be attached to the bumpers of the vehicle.

FOLDING WING PLOW

The present invention relates to a snow plow assembly for a vehicle comprising a snow plow frame that is attachable to an associated vehicle. The snow plow blade is attachable to the snow plow frame and has a snow plow surface for use in plowing associated snow. An end gate is pivotally attached to at least one distal end of the snow plow blade. The end gate has a snow plow surface for use in plowing associated snow. A hydraulically operable adjustment mechanism is operatively attached to the snow plow blade and the end gate. The adjustment mechanism releasably secures the end gate in at least three different positions relative to the snow plow blade. A pivotally connected stop assembly means is operably attached to the snow plow blade and the end gate by a hydraulically operable adjustment mechanism.

Material pusher with floating coupler

An improved material pusher or containment plow employing a floating vehicle-coupling system, a wear shoe, as well as a plurality of removable scraping edge sections.

Method and apparatus for installing cutting edges on a V-blade plow

For a V-plow having a pair of blades hinged together along inboard ends of the blades at a hinge, a gauge on a lower end of the hinge having a spacer, the spacer having a thickness in a direction generally transverse to a longitudinal axis of the V-plow corresponding to a desired minimum spacing between inboard ends of a pair of cutting edge plates to be installed on the blades, a method of installing the cutting edge plates on the blades is provided. The method comprises positioning one of the cutting edge plates along a lower edge of one of the blades so that the inboard end of the one cutting edge plate abuts one side of the spacer, securing the one cutting edge plate to the one blade, positioning the other cutting edge plate along a lower edge of the other blade so that the inboard end of the other cutting edge plate abuts the other side of the spacer, and securing the other cutting edge plate to the other blade.

SKID SHOE ASSEMBLY FOR A SNOW THROWER

A plow collateral damage mitigating system for the minimization of collateral damage done by otherwise routine and/or careless usage of a plow blade is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a signal transmission cable configured to be disposed around a periphery of an area that is to be plowed; one or more receivers on a snow plow device or vehicle that are configured to receive at least one signal conveyed by the signal transmission cable; at least one actuator controlling an orientation of a plow blade of the snow plow device; and a control unit configured to automatically control the orientation of the plow blade by means of adjusting the at least one actuator based upon the at least one signal of the signal transmission cable so as to avoid damaging a boundary feature and/or obstruction disposed at the periphery of the area being plowed.

Adjustable Snow Plow Blade
20220034056 · 2022-02-03 ·

An adjustable snow plow blade mechanism connected to a front end loader (FEL). The FEL mounted in front of a tractor. In one embodiment, the plow blade mechanism includes a control plate with three blade control points. The control plate is adapted for attachment to a rear of a snow plow blade. A control arm is pivotally attached to the control plate. The control arm can be moved from one blade control point to another for adjusting a snow plow blade angle. An opposite end of the control arm is pivotally attached to a front of an attachment plate. The attachment plate is adapted for mounting on the FEL. The attachment plate is raised and tilted by the FEL. The attachment plate, the control arm and the control plate are used for moving the snow plow blade to a left blade position, or to a right blade position, or to a neutral and straight ahead blade position on a roadway.
