BUOYANT CONTAINMENT AND/OR FILTRATION
Embodiments disclosed here include a containment system and methods of containment which may include a segmented buoyant rim. Certain embodiments also include an inflatable rim with at least one inflation/deflation valve in the rim segments and ballast in the rim segments. Additionally, certain embodiments include material connected to the rim segments, to enclose a void created in the rim and to hang below the buoyant rim.
WATER SURFACE DEBRIS COLLECTOR
A float assembly that can generate its inflowing water current for collecting water surface debris in a water body. Float assembly can be mounted to a fixed structure at the water body and includes a basket supported by a pair of floats buoyant in water. The basket includes a pump housed in a perforated housing, wherein the pump can be operated to suck water through the inlet also carrying the debris into the basket. The debris of a suitable size can be retained in the basket while the water is pumped out through an outlet. The basket can be switched from an operating state i.e., submerged in water to a stowed state outside the water upon the fixed structure.
ONBOARD OIL CONTAINMENT SYSTEM
An oil containment system aboard a vessel includes a pneumatic system to provide power to a winch and reel assembly containing boom whereby the pneumatic supply is capable of simultaneously powering the winch-reel assembly for boom deployment through inflatable gas fed to a pneumatic motor while also inflating the boom. The inflation of the boom is accomplished by diverting, all or any portion thereof, the inflatable gas from a pneumatic supply through a hose that runs concurrently on the outside of the boom. The pneumatic supply originates from a single pneumatic system powering both the winch and reel assembly as well as associated brake and feeding inflatable gas pressure to the inflation hose running concurrently with the boom. The system can be utilized to confine a discharge of a floating material such as hydrocarbons floating on the surface from a vessel or structure.
Hydrophilic material oil fence having double-porous mesh
Disclosed is a hydrophilic material oil fence having a double-porous mesh. The hydrophilic material oil fence having the double-porous mesh includes a floating body floating on a water surface, and a skirt coupled to an upper portion and a lower portion of the floating body and made of a hydrophilic material through which a hydrophilic fluid selectively passes. A mesh hole size of a partial region of the skirt and a mesh hole size of the other region of the skirt are different.

Certain embodiments also include an inflatable rim with at least one inflation/deflation valve in the rim segments and ballast in the rim segments. Additionally, certain embodiments include material connected to the rim segments, to enclose a void created in the rim and to hang below the buoyant rim.
Pollution filter and containment
Embodiments disclosed here include a buoyant filtration system and method including a buoyant rim which may be used to encircle a pollution source and attached to a submersible wall and floor. Some embodiments include the detachable filtration systems on or near the buoyant rim. Some embodiments include a bag attached to the buoyant rim where the bag is water permeable but retains the pollution in the water.

Systems, apparatus and methods for collecting and separating floating debris and water from a body of water
Systems, apparatus and methods useful for collecting and separating floating debris and water from a body of water on a vessel, the vessel including at least one inflow regulator (IFR) chamber at least partially separated from a main collection compartment and at least one fluid discharge pump.
SPILL CONTAINMENT BOOM
Some embodiments of the invention relate to a spill containment boom unit for deployment in ambient water, using water absorbing material, such as SAP, to encourage expansion of a chamber thereof. Some embodiments provide boom units which comprise one or more surfaces which form at least one hollow chamber, wherein at least one wall of the hollow chamber comprises at least one fillable compartment.
