Automatic tilt control
An industrial machine and methods for providing automatic tilt control for the same. One method includes determining a current tooth vector of a tooth included on a bucket of the industrial machine and a current path vector of the tooth and determining a current digging angle between the current tooth vector and the current path vector. The method also includes determining a delta angle based on the current digging angle and a target angle and automatically adjusting a tilt of the bucket based on the delta angle.
Controlling a crowd parameter of an industrial machine
A controller that includes a memory and an electronic processor. The electronic processor receives a first signal and a second signal. The electronic processor determines a retract torque limit based on the first signal and the second signal. The electronic processor sets a retract torque parameter of a crowd motor to the retract torque limit that has been determined. The electronic processor operates the crowd motor at or below the retract torque parameter.
Counterweight supporting structure for construction machine
To improve the precision of position of a fastener hole and a seating face for mounting a counterweight, a counterweight supporting member is comprised of a support plate erected and fixed at the rear end of a revolving frame and a supporting member attached to the support plate. The supporting member is comprised of a base member that is locked and secured to a through hole opened on the support plate in a back and forth adjustable manner and has a counterweight fixing surface and a bolt fastening member in which a fastener hole for receiving a fastener bolt is formed.
Internal venting system for industrial machines
A mining shovel includes a boom and a transmission unit coupled to the boom. The transmission unit includes an outer housing, an internal motor housing disposed within the outer housing, and a venting system coupled to the outer housing to direct air through both the outer housing and the internal motor housing.
Bucket for implement system having symmetrical tooth mounting members
A bucket for an implement system includes a bucket body, and a first tooth mounting member and a second tooth mounting member forming first and second corners of the bucket body. The first and second tooth mounting members may be identical to one another, and are each bilaterally symmetrical. A flared shape of a longitudinal fin of each of the tooth mounting members enables abutment against a side wall of a bucket at a plurality of orientations, enabling tooth mounting members of the same design to be used at opposite corners of the bucket for positioning digging teeth at kicked-out orientations.
Boom and dipper handle assembly for an industrial machine
A mining machine includes a base, a boom, a member, and a dipper. The base includes a frame portion that is rotatable relative to the support surface about a machine axis. The boom includes a first end coupled to the base, a second end opposite the first end, and a sheave coupled to the second end of the boom. A first distance is defined between the machine axis and the second end of the boom. The member is movably coupled to the boom about a pivot point that is positioned substantially between the first end and the second end of the boom. A second distance is defined between the machine axis and the pivot point. A ratio of the second distance to the first distance is between 27% and 43%. The dipper is coupled to an end of the member and is supported by a hoist rope.
Conduit support system
An industrial machine includes a frame supporting a boom having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, an arm movably coupled to the boom and including a first end and a second end, an attachment coupled to the first end of the arm, a conduit extending from the frame to a position adjacent the attachment, a first member coupled to the boom, and a second member spaced apart from the first member. The first member supports a portion of the conduit as the arm moves relative to the boom. The second member supports a portion of the conduit as the arm moves relative to the boom. The second member is movable relative to the first member.
FLUID CONVEYANCE SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL MACHINE
An industrial machine includes a frame supporting a boom, an elongated member movably coupled to the boom, an attachment, a conduit, and a reel supporting at least a portion of the conduit. The boom includes a first end coupled to the frame and a second end opposite the first end. The elongated member is movably coupled to the boom and includes a first end and a second end. The attachment is coupled to the second end of the elongated member. The conduit extends between the frame and the attachment. The reel is rotatably supported on a support shaft. The reel rotates about an axis of rotation to reel in and pay out the conduit as the elongated member moves relative to the boom.
Shovel with pivoting bucket
A mining shovel including a base, a boom, a first member moveably coupled to the boom, a bucket, and a pivot actuator. The base includes a hoist drum for paying out and reeling in a hoist rope. The boom includes a first end coupled to the base and a second end opposite the first end. The hoist rope extends over the second end of the boom. The first member includes a first end and a second end. The bucket is pivotably coupled to the second end of the first member. The pivot actuator moves the bucket relative to the second end of the first member, and the pivot actuator includes a first end coupled to the first member.
