DIPPER LATTICE FRAME AND WEARABLE STRUCTURAL LINER
A dipper of a work machine includes a body having a plurality of walls, a rear door, a bowl and a liner. The bowl may have a lattice framework. The liner may be formed from a plurality of plates, with each plate having a top surface that contacts material present in the dipper, and a bottom surface opposite the top surface. Each plate may be welded to the lattice frame from the bottom surface of the plate.
SWING AUTOMATION FOR ROPE SHOVEL
A system and method for various levels of automation of a swing-to-hopper motion for a rope shovel. An operator controls a rope shovel during a dig operation to load a dipper with materials. A controller receives position data, either via operator input or sensor data, for the dipper and a hopper where the materials are to be dumped. The controller then calculates an ideal path for the dipper to travel to be positioned above the hopper to dump the contents of the dipper. In some embodiments, the controller outputs operator feedback to assist the operator in traveling along the ideal path to the hopper. In some embodiments, the controller restricts the dipper motion such that the operator is not able to deviate beyond certain limits of the ideal path. In some embodiments, the controller automatically controls the movement of the dipper to reach the hopper.
PIVOTING PINNED CONNECTION FOR A ROPE SHOVEL BUCKET
A pivoting connection between a bucket and a padlock of a rope shovel, a pin assembly, and a rope shovel are disclosed. A pivoting connection includes a pin having a pin axis and extending through a bucket lug of the bucket and a pair of padlock lugs of the padlock; a flag having a pin end and a mounting end; a locking coupling coaxial with the pin axis and located in the pin end of the flag, wherein the locking coupling selectively couples the flag to the pin; and a slotted flag mount attached to the bucket including a vertical slot and a horizontal slot parallel to the pin axis; wherein the mounting end of the flag is received by the slotted flag mount such that the pin is constrained from rotating with respect to the bucket and from translating along the pin axis.
LINER PLATE MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A liner assembly for protecting a sidewall of a work implement associated with a work machine is disclosed. The liner assembly includes a wedge, a wedge-plate interface, a liner plate, and a weld. The wedge comprising a receiving channel configured to support the liner plate and a slot for filling the weld to secure the wedge to the sidewall. The liner plate includes an engaging channel complementary to the receiving channel to form the wedge-plate interface which supports the liner plates on the wedge. The weld is further provided along the perimeter and gaps of the liner plates to secure the liner plate to the sidewall of the work implement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEASURING FORCES IN EARTH MOVING MACHINERY AND CONTROL THEREOF, AND AUTOMATIC OR SEMI-AUTOMATIC MACHINERY
System (1-3) for earth moving machinery (100), comprising: a plurality of wear elements (10-15) adapted for coupling with a blade (111) of digging implements (110) of an earth moving machine (100); one or more sensors (20) for measuring forces, each sensor of the one or more sensors (20) being arranged in one wear element of the plurality of wear elements (10-15) or between two wear elements of the plurality of wear elements (10-15); and central control means (50) for processing measurements of the one or more sensors (20) in order to calculate force withstood by the wear elements (10-15).
DIPPER DOOR AND DIPPER DOOR TRIP ASSEMBLY
A mining machine includes a boom, a handle coupled to the boom, a dipper coupled to the handle, and a dipper door pivotally coupled to the dipper. The mining shovel also includes a dipper door trip assembly including a trip motor coupled to the boom, a trip drum coupled to the handle, a linkage assembly coupled to the dipper door, a first actuation element extending directly from the trip motor to the trip drum, and a second actuation element extending directly from the trip drum to the linkage assembly.
Center pintle hub
A center pintle hub to be affixed to a base of a machine. The center pintle hub includes a base portion and a support portion. The base portion is formed to be affixed to the base. The support portion extends from the base portion and has a frusto-conical shape that can receive a center pintle shaft. The center pintle shaft can support a frame of the machine and provide rotation of the frame with respect to the base.
Work vehicle, display device, and fault determination method
A work vehicle includes a changing object that is an object in which a known change in an external appearance occurs for each fixed time, an imaging device that images an area where the changing object appears, and a transmitting device that transmits an image captured by the imaging device.
MINING SHOVEL WITH COMPOSITIONAL SENSORS
A mining shovel with compositional sensors comprises a bucket having various inward looking sensors positioned throughout the bucket. The bucket can also have disposed thereon a control enclosure that houses processing equipment that receives and analyzes the data collected by the inward looking sensors. The mining shovel with compositional sensors can be used as part of a system to manage a mining field, including generating and transmitting instructions directing where to deposit material located in the bucket based on the data collected from the inward looking sensors positioned in the bucket.
Display control system and display control method
A work vehicle includes work equipment having a work tool and a support member supporting the work tool. A display control system controls a display device provided outside the work vehicle. The display control system includes a captured image acquisition unit, a supplementary image acquisition unit, a display image generation unit, and a display control unit. The captured image acquisition unit acquires a captured image captured by an imaging device mounted on the work vehicle. The supplementary image acquisition unit acquires a supplementary image representing information related to the work vehicle. The display image generation unit generates a display image in which the supplementary image is disposed in an area where a side surface of the support member can be shown in the captured image. The display control unit outputs a display signal in order to display the display image on the display device.
