Wear Prediction and Notification System
An ID tag is disposed on a plurality of components of a machine. A controller stores a usage threshold for each component, receives signals from an ID tag reader, and associates an identification number from each ID tag with a component of the machine. The controller determines previous usage data for each component, determines an extent of usage of the machine since generation of the previous usage data, determines current usage data for each component based upon the extent of usage of the machine and the previous usage data, and compares the current usage data for each component to the usage threshold for each component. The controller generates an alert for each component in which the current usage data for that component exceeds its usage threshold and transmits the alert to a system remote from the machine.
BEARING INSERT FOR A BEARING ARRANGEMENT
A replaceable bearing insert may include a bearing surface including a curvature configured to be complementarily contoured to a trunnion ball. The bearing surface may be configured to be in confronting engagement with the trunnion ball. An outer surface opposite the bearing surface may be configured to be received in confronting engagement with an inner surface of an adapter. A first semi-annular flange may extend radially outwardly beyond the outer surface. A second semi-annular flange may extend radially outwardly beyond the outer surface. The first semi-annular flange and the second semi-annular flange may be configured to extend along a first side and a second side of the adapter, respectively, such that the inner surface of the adapter is positioned between the first semi-annular flange and the second semi-annular flange.
WORK VEHICLE
Lift cylinder is attached to a center part of a vehicle body in a vehicle width direction. The lift cylinder causes a work implement to move up and down. A supporting member is attached to the center part of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction and extends upward from the vehicle body. An imaging device is supported by the supporting member and captures images of a region in front of the vehicle body. A penetrating part is formed in the supporting member. The lift cylinder is disposed through the penetrating part.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING WORK MACHINE INCLUDING WORK IMPLEMENT
A system controls a work machine including a work implement. The system includes a load sensor and a processor. The load sensor detects a load acting on the work implement. The processor controls the work machine to dig a digging wall formed between adjacent slots. The processor moves the work machine to either one of the adjacent slots adjacent to the digging wall when the load during digging the digging wall is equal to or greater than a first threshold. A method is executed by a processor to control the work machine. The method includes detecting a load acting on the work implement, controlling the work machine to dig the digging wall, and moving the work machine to one of the adjacent slots when the load during digging the digging wall is equal to or greater than a first threshold.

An inspection device for hydraulic equipment includes a hydraulic circuit having a branch valve, an optical detection section, a pump configured to supply oil to the hydraulic circuit, and a controller. The optical detection section includes an inspection oil passage connected to the branch valve. The inspection oil passage includes a filter arranged to collect foreign matter. The controller operates the branch valve to supply oil to the inspection oil passage. The optical detection section includes first and second foreign matter detection sections arranged on upstream and downstream sides of the filter to detect foreign matter. A work vehicle includes the inspection device. An inspection system includes the inspection device. An inspection method includes supplying oil to an inspection oil passage by operating a branch valve of a hydraulic circuit, and detecting foreign matter on upstream and downstream sides of a filter arranged on the inspection oil passage.
VABRATORY PLATE COMPACTOR WITH GRADING MEANS
A grading blade for use with a plate compactor and a plate compactor having a grading blade, for use in grading base material when compacting. The grading blade is user movable relative to the plate compactor via a connection to a pivoting handle of the plate compactor or via a separate controller. The grading blade may be configured for use with a laser level and/or for remote control.
WORK VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR WORK VEHICLE
A hydraulic pump is driven by an engine. A hydraulic motor is driven by hydraulic fluid discharged from the hydraulic pump thereby causing a vehicle to travel. A controller controls a rotation speed of the engine and a displacement of the hydraulic pump. The controller acquires a tractive force of the vehicle. The controller changes the rotation speed of the engine to a low speed side in accordance with a reduction in the tractive force.

A load sensing valve maintains a differential pressure at a set pressure by controlling a regulator in accordance with a differential pressure between a discharge pressure of a hydraulic pump and a load pressure of hydraulic actuators. A set pressure control device controls the set pressure. A controller controls the set pressure control device to reduce the set pressure more than when the work implement is being operated, when a predetermined determination condition that includes the work implement not being operated is satisfied.
FORCE-BASED WORK VEHICLE BLADE PITCH CONTROL
A system and method for automatically adjusting blade pitch in crawler dozers, motor graders, and other bladed work vehicles includes estimating a current tractive force of the work vehicle utilizing one or more controllers that establish whether the current tractive force of the work vehicle can be reduced by rotating the blade to an optimized pitch angle. A command is transmitted from the one or more controllers to a blade actuation system to rotate the blade to the optimized pitch angle. The method may be performed iteratively to repeatedly adjust the blade pitch to optimized angles as the work vehicle operates and conditions affecting the optimal blade pitch angle vary.
