In some implementations a lift assembly for a snow wing assembly may include a first lifting mechanism, coupled to the motor grader, configured to lift the snow wing assembly a first portion of a bench height associated with a moldboard via a first hydraulic cylinder. The lift assembly may include a second lifting mechanism, coupled to the first lifting mechanism and the moldboard, configured to lift the moldboard of the snow wing assembly a second portion of the bench height via a second hydraulic cylinder. The lift assembly may include one or more valves included in a hydraulic circuit of the first hydraulic cylinder and the second hydraulic cylinder, configured to divert a flow of hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic circuit away from a first stage hydraulic cylinder and to a second stage hydraulic cylinder, based on a pressure value associated with the first stage hydraulic cylinder.
CIRCLE ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR GRADER
A circle assembly for supporting implement of motor grader is provided. The circle assembly rotates relative to drawbar about rotation axis. The circle assembly includes plate and rim member coupled to plate. The plate defines front section and rear section and includes a ring gear portion defining a plurality of teeth formed integrally therein. A first skirt portion and a second skirt portion integrally and contiguously extend from ring gear portion at rear section. The first skirt portion and second skirt portion are angled relative to ring gear portion in direction of rotation axis. The rim member includes first arm member and second arm member attached to first skirt portion and second skirt portion, respectively, and a circumferential belt portion extending between the first arm member and the second arm member. The belt portion is spaced from and surrounds ring gear member at the front section of the plate.
GROUND ENGAGING TOOL CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A ground engaging tool control system including a first sensor system, a second sensor system, a first actuator system, a second actuator system, and an electronic data processor. The first and second sensor systems detect respective positions of a first ground engaging tool and a second ground engaging tool. The first actuator system is coupled to the first ground engaging tool and the second actuator system is coupled to the second ground engaging tool. The electronic data processor determines a target grade profile and generates two or more control signals to adjust target positions of the first ground engaging tool and the second ground engaging tool. The target position of the second ground engaging tool is determined based on at least one of a position of the first ground engaging tool or the comparison of a current grade profile and a desired grade profile.
Apparatuses and methods for measuring saddle linkage position of a motor grader
A grader includes a chassis, a saddle linkage, and a motion measurement system. The saddle linkage is supported for movement relative to the chassis and includes a mount movably coupled to the chassis, first and second arms each movably coupled to the mount, and a crossbar movably coupled to each of the first and second arms. The mount has a lock pin aperture, each of the first and second arms has a locking hole, and the crossbar has a plurality of locking holes. The lock pin aperture may be aligned with one locking hole of the first arm, the second arm, or the crossbar to position the saddle linkage in use of the grader. The motion measurement system is coupled to the saddle linkage and configured to measure movement or position of one or more components of the grader in use thereof.
Control system for a grading machine
A grading machine may include a machine body, a grading blade, a drawbar connecting the grading blade to the machine body, a drawbar centershift cylinder, a user interface, and a control system. The control system may be configured to receive an input from the user interface and extend or retract the drawbar centershift cylinder to adjust a centershift of the drawbar to one of a plurality of predetermined centershift positions based on the input.
Method of controlling motor grader, motor grader, and work management system for motor grader
A motor grader includes a vehicular body, a blade, a front wheel located in front of the blade, two rear wheels located in the rear of the blade, a first sensor which detects a position of the vehicular body as first sensor information, a second sensor which detects an inclination of the vehicular body as second sensor information, a first swing member which rotatably supports both of the two rear wheels arranged in the front and rear relation and is swingably supported by the vehicular body, and a third sensor which detects an angle of swing of the first swing member with respect to the vehicular body as third sensor information. A method of controlling a motor grader includes obtaining the first to third sensor information and calculating positions of the rear wheels based on the obtained first to third sensor information.
Method of calibrating a sensor on a work vehicle
A work vehicle including a body, an operational frame movable relative to the body about a primary joint, a linkage arrangement configured to adjust a position of the operational frame relative to the body, and a working implement coupled to the operational frame and movable relative to the body. A first sensor is positioned on the body. A second sensor is positioned on at least one of the operational frame, the linkage arrangement, and the working implement. A processor is configured to receive a first signal from the first sensor, where the first signal is representative of a measurement sensed by the first sensor, receive a second signal from the second sensor, where the second signal is representative of a measurement sensed by the second sensor, and determine a measurement error of the first sensor based on the signals from the first sensor and the second sensor.
