Method of controlling motor grader and motor grader
A motor grader includes a blade between a front wheel and a rear wheel, the blade being attached to a swing circle which adjusts a blade angle. A control method performed in the motor grader includes obtaining current topography in front of the motor grader and adjusting the blade angle to an angle in accordance with the current topography by revolving the swing circle.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A GRADING MACHINE
A grading machine includes a machine body, a blade assembly, a circle supporting the blade assembly and including a plurality of teeth, a drawbar assembly connecting the circle to the machine body, and a cover plate coupled to a bottom portion of the drawbar assembly. The drawbar assembly includes a plurality of blocks, and the cover plate is configured to be coupled to the drawbar assembly via the plurality of blocks.
RECONFIGURABLE BOX BLADE
A reconfigurable box blade includes a box frame that includes a left sidewall, a right sidewall, and a scraping blade that spans laterally between the left sidewall and the right sidewall. The reconfigurable box blade also includes a means for attaching the box frame to a vehicle. The reconfigurable box blade has a first configuration and a second configuration. The first configuration includes the scraping blade being in contact with a ground surface, and, a longest dimension of the box blade oriented substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The second configuration includes the scraping blade being out of contact with the ground surface and the longest dimension of the box frame being substantially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle capable of readily knowing an amount of soil built up on a front surface of a blade is provided. A motor grader includes a vehicular body frame, a blade, and an image pick-up apparatus. The blade is arranged between a front end of the vehicular body frame and a rear end of the vehicular body frame. The blade is supported on the vehicular body frame. The image pick-up apparatus is arranged in front of the blade. At least a part of the blade is included within an angle of view of the image pick-up apparatus.
Mounting assembly
A mounting assembly for a blade of a motor grader includes a mounting bracket having a groove, at least one first bore, and a second bore. The mounting assembly includes a wear element disposed in the groove. The wear element includes at least one recess. The wear element is adapted to slidably receive a portion of the blade thereon. The mounting assembly also includes a retention pin disposed in the at least one first bore. The retention pin includes an aperture provided therein. The retention pin is adapted to engage the at least one recess provided on the wear element to limit longitudinal movement of the wear element within the groove. The mounting assembly further includes a lynch pin disposed in each of the second bore and the aperture to limit axial movement of the retention pin within the at least one first bore.
Control method and motor grader
A control method is performed in a motor grader, the motor grader including a blade between a front wheel and a rear wheel, the blade being attached to a swing circle which adjusts a blade angle. The control method includes detecting a load applied to the blade and revolving, when the detected load is larger in value than a predetermined reference value, the swing circle in such a direction that the blade angle is smaller than the blade angle at the time of detection of that value.
AUTOMATED CIRCLE ROTATE WITH PRESET ANGLE
A work machine that has a blade that is positionable at a plurality of angles relative to the work machine, a positioning system coupled to the blade to transition the blade to any one of the plurality of angles, a user interface providing a user input, and a controller in communication with the positioning system and the user input. Wherein, when the controller receives a first user input signal from the user interface, the controller positions the blade in a first preset position with the positioning system.
GROUND CONTOURING APPARATUS WITH PROVISION FOR MOUNTED ACCESSORIES
Disclosed is a ground modifying apparatus of a type sometimes known as levellers, typically as used on tractors and skid-steer vehicles. In current practice these are used for preparing, levelling, and contouring the ground. Such device includes at least an accessory body portion supporting a ground modifying accessory or includes a way to attach the same. The apparatus includes a travelling carriage assembly pivotably attached by a carriage pivot, about a rotational axis substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the apparatus. The carriage pivot is positioned lower than the center of gravity of the travelling carriage assembly.
IMPROVEMENTS IN & RELATING TO GRADING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLES
Grader Apparatus for attachment to a vehicle has a main body portion coupled to a blade body portion by multiple linkages. These include primary load bearing links which connect to the blade portion aligned in a vertical z-axis allows rotation of the blade portion thereabout. Adjustable length actuators allow rotational yaw control about the z-axis. Adjustable roll actuators connect between an extension of the main body portion and the blade body portion to control its elevation and roll angle. Other embodiments allow lateral shifting of the blade body portion, and include an improved slope sensor catering for yaw with roll combinations.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A mounting assembly for a blade of a motor grader is provided. The mounting assembly includes a mounting bracket having a groove, at least one first bore, and a second bore.
