Airlocks for conveying material, hydro excavation vacuum apparatus having airlocks, and methods for hydro excavating a site
Hydro excavation vacuum apparatus that process spoil material onboard the apparatus by separating water from the cut earthen material are disclosed.
HYDRO EXCAVATION REMOTE DIG SYSTEM
The hydro excavation remote dig system provides for a primary and secondary dig tube attachments that permit a vacuum truck to be used for a remote dig setup. Specifically, the attachments include various attachable handles, corrugated tubing that connects to a reinforcement bar device with releasable clamps to maintain the corrugated tubing in an elongated state during use, a debris box with an integrated safety valve, and a dig tip.

Methods for Suppression of Seabed Mining Plumes
This disclosure addresses the problem of preventing sediment laden water (sediment slurry) resulting from hydraulic collection of nodules from the seabed from entering the riser and lift system that carries the nodules to the surface as a slurry. An example includes collecting nodules from the seabed by hydraulic suction, separating the nodules utilizing an inverse hydrocyclone.
Drilling Fluid Reclaimer
The present invention is directed to a drilling fluid reclaimer. The reclaimer has at least one adjustable screen assembly for providing a leveling filter for reclaimed drill fluid. Used drill fluid is placed at the screen assembly at the front the of the screen assembly. The at least one screen is vibrated to separate large particulate matter from liquid drilling fluid. A second screen is provided for additional filtering. Large particulate matter is expelled by a chute at the back of the screen assembly. Drilling fluid passing through the screen is reclaimed for use with a drilling system.

Liquid pump with a passive filtration system for dredging and water filtration
The liquid pump includes an inner and an outer tube. The inner tube can have a distal end that is positioned within an interior volume of the outer tube. A conical filter is on the distal end of the inner tube. A gas pump provides compressed air which is output through a plurality of inner tube holes on an inner surface of the inner tube on a distal portion of the inner tube and a plurality of annular space holes which are adjacent to an annular space between the inner tube and the outer tube.

WATER CONSERVATING SILT DISCHARGING DEVICE
A water conserving silt discharging device includes a moving bottom plate. A first material conveying water pump, a stirring box, a filler box and a compression box are sequentially arranged on an upper portion of the moving bottom plate. And a roller mechanism is arranged on each of four diagonal portions of a lower portion of the moving bottom palate. A controller, an infrared sensor and a high-definition camera assembly are arranged on the upper portion of the moving bottom plate. The first material conveying water pump conveys silt material to the stirring box through a convey pipe. A jitter mechanism assembly is arranged at a bottom portion of the stirring box to generate jittering. The jitter mechanism assembly comprises a plurality of identically shaking spring bodies and a driving cylinder arranged on the shaking spring bodies.
MATERIAL-COLLECTING CONTAINER OF A SUCTION DREDGER
The invention relates to a material collection container of a suction excavator, having a suction connection at its rear end-face wall and a suction flow duct that leads from the suction connection through a collection chamber and a filter unit. The suction connection is positioned at the rear end-face wall in such a way that its cross section is intersected by the plane of symmetry of the material collection container. After passing through the collection chamber, the suction flow is divided into at least two subflows that are conducted in air ducts situated on both sides of the plane of symmetry.
The invention further relates to a suction excavator having this type of material collection container.
